agree, personally I would hope that Connor admit he was prejudiced and protested too soon about Wotte and support Crouch in his call for a meaningful inquest in the close season, the protest has made a point and its clear that the board aren't popular.

and doing the w***** sign to the Northam
-
who is this "Lowe" - not seen his name on here before, did I miss something?
-
it was only a suggestion!
-
the old ugly inside forum, rivals.net was it? used to have these posts, wishing saints to lose knocking players and everything about the club - those were from skates.
-
what about running a few stickies with quite open titles? e.g Views on current board This would cover your point and the many others. Protests organised ones, past ones, ideas, comments on Ideas / suggestions for future ownership/board general discussions, ideas, wishes Then the rest of the forum people can still start new threads for football comment, news, also any new on the board (rather than just our normal debate) such as OS stuff, Crouch's comments in press, even the trust release. Not given stickies much thought but just an idea?

Mary Corbett felt "threatened" and "physically intimidated" by Lowe

well reasoned -
I keep asking what they want anyway? It appeared the protest before wanted Lowe/Wilde/Wotte out and Crouch in. Now even Crouch is being sensible enough to see there shouldn't be change again until the relegation battle is sorted.

he's not that high!
-
not so secret!

I said "if". Still not convinced but I hope that he comes our greatest manager ever -as I always would with new manager. Doubt that but think he is doing somewhere between ok and quite good at this very early stage - and will keep judging him on how he does.
-
I will only do it if I can bleed the club dry, I will sell all players for my personal profit and hope for administration and relegation - I read on here thats the job description.

I do dismiss Stanley's views when they are so prejudiced, if thats arrogant so be it, I see it as having read them, considered them then rejected them. Of course if we knew a brighter future was there if Wotte lost a game then you could support saints and considering wishing for a defeat (although I can't ever imagine wanting saints to fail). But the logic of wanting wotte to fail as it might bring about Lowe/Wilde leaving which might bring about a brighter future is tenous to the extreme. There is no-one, including Crouch looking to get rid of Wotte at the moment. Therefore if you support saints, you want them to do well e.g. avoid relegation, to do that Wotte has to do well, therefore if you support saints you want him to do well. So, you think someone who supports their team, hopes a new manager will do well and will judge him on performances is narrow minded - and someone who wants him to fail purely because of who appointed him -even though it means his team suffering has a valid and rational view? I won't worry too much about your continual character assessments now!
-
He's our manager, thats the important thing - you can't support saints without hoping he does well
-
I posted on here a while ago when he said that they had just heard that Surman had been sold. I then emailed the show as it was not being said anywhere else - they quickly emailed back and their source.... someone who rang in to their show had heard it somewhere!
-
you are starting to sound a bit obsessed! Sorry only read todays echo when I posted this - should have come home earlier, sorry;)
-
that's up to you, its a shame you can't support your manager If he is a good manager he will be supported by nearly all saints fans. Why don't you judge on football rather than prejudging him?
-
"The only thing we should be doing at the moment is getting behind Mark Wotte and the players and giving them full support and trying to create an atmosphere in the stadium where everyone is behind the team" Leon Crouch. Interesting that he names Wotte and says "only thing". He goes on to say there will be an inquest at the end of the season - not now. He goes up in my estimation.
-
the sensible view -agree, it meant to be sport / pleasure / entertainment after all!
-
you were on the wrong march then!
-
and Hoddle.
-
so is it "happy love" they are signifying?
-
as protests were seeking the return of LC, and against (amongst other things) Wotte - now that LC has asked for no politics and to support Wotte -does this mean the protests will be cancelled
-
once again you seem to try and make things personal. I am not going to answer your insults. To answer your question as to what basis I was asking him, I was asking as someone who is organising a protest I was interested in what exactly it was seeking to achieve? Is that not reasonable? I would not expect everyone involved to have exactly the same opinion, but it is normal for everyone on a protest march to agree with the stated aim. I also, now wonder if the organisers have a different view, not that Crouch -who I believe they wanted to install as chairman, has suggested supporting Wotte and leave politics until the close season.
-
As one who has moaned about Crouch's comments in the past... I thought the page article in tonights echo shows him in a very good light. There is no petty point scoring. Urges all to forget about politics until after the season and support Saints and Wotte. The priority is to avoid relegation. Well done Leon.
