I know you totally struggle with any reasoned arguement, but many anti-Lowe posters have managed to put a view. Its a fairly put question, where is there any sycophantic support for Lowe (it means flattery to gain favour). Have you managed to come up with anything you feel he could have done better or did you fail to get past insults? Remind me-how involved were you in the campaign to get Lowe out? Just because someone seeks to engage brain to consider what people are doing rather than deal purely on personalities it doesn't make them a Lowe supporter.

5 -2, (3-0 up a half time)

so nothing done wrong this time?

depends what you mean being involved in football matters. re photo -agree to disagree, thought echo hard copy was far from saying anything. The words of McGoldrick -exactly -"many of the players had not met the chairman". "came to training ground to explain finances" (a good thing). Came in the changing room before game to wish us luck - Case and Armstrong were then both asked on radio if this was common and they both said it was usual practice at other clubs. I am sure there are some football decisions we would both agree he should make (after all it is a football club) and many he shouldn't - we may even agree where the line should be drawn. Is he stepping over the line? Who knows, not heard anything firm to suggest he is but wouldn't surprise me. Finances can dictate football decisions. In summary, maybe bit sweeping but Mcgoldrick said the opposite - and if you go back to the thread on it the poster who started it agreed and said he was being bit mischief.

yes, much of a muchness -certainly not losing ground which was what I was responding to. Derby and Charlton look awful in both!
-
we may lose better players but also hear Charlton maybe -who knows. Hopefully we will see a lot more of Schneiderlin and Holmes. We may have the benefit of returning loan players. Remember it was stated, as fact, on here during the summer that even more players than did actually go would be sold -and no-one would come in. Can't see any logic in your 2nd and 3rd points?
-
no disrespect but the only info on this last time turned out to be false, and the situation very much otherwise

thought poster reminded me of someone!

not me mate -sorry I must have selected their explanation when cutting and pasting!

if they all lose their next one -more likely as that's why they are where they are we will be 7 points clear of all of them;)

Current Form Taking the last 6 performances in the Coca-Cola Championship this table shows just who's hot and who's not right now. In replies so far, the main criticisms are what he did in his previous tenure or how he divides the fans (not belittling either). There is very little that anyone is raising about this time. that is a fair point -I do wonder about the likes of Pulis. But also remember the stick he got for two Lowe signings; Schneiderlin and Holmes. Schneiderlin was a waste of money (and lightweight according to Alpine:rolleyes:) and Holmes was slated as poor standard. Cork has been good addition as well. concern yes, but true? Who knows. Even the poster who started the lengthy thread about team talk admitted it was mischief making.

hope its at least as good as that going into last game!

Looking at the poll on Jan, just over 50% of us have confidence in him -so if we accept that he was cheap and the fans are reasonably confident in him then that appointment is not a disaster (at the moment). What has Lowe done wrong this time? Interested in views but accept two things perhaps for other debates 1) his history (management appointments, aloof etc) 2) because of the above divides fans and causes negativity. Genuinely interested, particularly for the staunch Lowe out posters, why we should campaign to get him out, or is the history enough without accpeting he is hear now so lets see how his 2nd chance goes?
-
Yes, not condoning our form but its not the right off stated. Others are below and they are getting worse -we are in the just, only just doing enough bracket. We are four points clear of relegation zone.
-
the easier thing about being at the bottom is that by the very nature of it the other teams don't tend to pick up many points. Its not about relying on it, its just fact of life at the bottom. We are in a bad run yes, but no more in freefall than the others. The last 6 games -not one team in bottom 7 has bettered our points. Charlton and Derby are in free fall (2 points out of last 18 available).

God the people on this forum are ridiculous...
NickG replied to Dibden Purlieu Saint's topic in The Saints
Cowen was asked but said he did not feel up to the football side of the business -dealing with FA, other clubs, agents and transfer etc I believe. -
If Leon was still here would he want a bigger stadium after his recent quotes?
-
calm down! hardly constantly, yes they are better at the moment but its still good to laugh at their expense

just been reading some old reports of skates over last 12 months -large amount of reports saying Diarra best player on pitch and carrying the side!
