Administration is the ONLY way to break this downward spiral

read the link, it may help -it is a genuine explanation. Lowe is not the messiah. He isn't even particularly good! -

you are struggling to follow your own thread! you are saying opt for administration rather than be as we are today. I offer no guarantee that we will not go into administration as I do not know nearly enough detail. But you suggested we opt for that now, so I was comparing the two options offered -as of today. Its obvious you don't read understand other people's posts before posting your bitter responses -but thought at least you managed to understand your own! I think the vast majority of the 150 responses on here are clear that the first post on this was the utterly ridicilous and idiotic one! Please try and keep up, I have posted a CBBC explanation link for you, it may help. -

explanation cut and pasted from another thread; Administration and administrative receivership When a company or partnership gets into financial trouble an administrator or administrative receiver may be appointed. Administration The role of an administrator is to get the company out of trouble and trading again if possible. Administrators can be appointed to a company that is unable, or is likely to become unable, to pay its debts. They can be appointed by any of the following: the courts - on application from a creditor, directors or partners the holder of a qualifying floating charge over the assets of the business the company or its directors An administrator's primary goal is to rescue the company as a going concern. If this isn't possible, the administrator will try to get a better result for the creditors than would be possible if the company was wound up. If neither of these is possible, the administrator will sell the company's property to make at least a partial payment to one or more secured or preferential creditors, such as employees or the bank. Administration can also apply to partnerships. Administrative receivership When a company borrows money, the lender is usually given some security over the company's assets to guarantee payment. If the company fails to keep the terms of the loan or encounters financial difficulties, the lender may be entitled to appoint an administrative receiver. An administrative receiver is an insolvency practitioner who has control of the whole, or a substantial part, of the company's property and wide powers over the business. The administrative receiver is mainly concerned with getting back the money owed to the secured creditor. The administrative receiver may sell the assets piecemeal, or sell the whole business as a going concern to pay off the secured creditor, and the costs of the receivership. -

the club is more important than any of that crowd. I would rather have a club underachieving under Crouch / Lowe / Wilde and cronies than see us in admin, going down divisions and selling everyone/everything. Of course I would rather the club achieving with a new board able to take us forward. -

the arguements are not that we are safe but that administration is a child-like simplistic solution which is wrong -

doesn't normally take us over 130 posts to point out Alpine is talking without knowledge or reasoned arguement! -
Did anyone understand what JP was saying after the match??

its been said many times on here but the positives Alpine seeks from administration are not guaranteed. His rationale that relegation and administration are guaranteed is also flawed. Can't see any reasoned arguement at all. -
well who? There is no-one trying to buy them out -I wish there was. They may well be the problem but we need solutions!

that's one of the worst things - I am used to that but others could have been won over

totally agree with all of that - administration is not something to aim for unless you don't understand all of its implications. We could be even worse off. -
think that sums it up for me too. With one proviso -got no desire to see Lowe ousted just for them all to shuffle seats again, or to put Cowen at the helm when he doesn't want it/think he is up to it. We can hypothesize about how much better things would be with Salz etc but it ain't happening at the moment
-
can't remember who was arguing what now! Hopefully will all look a lot better on Sunday. Think Charlton and Derby need to turn things around quickly -Derby are in danger of going into another run like the start of the season

this one mate? No, fair point. I thought it was rash as was looking forward to actually moving forward with NP. However, it's so hard to judge Jan managing with his hands tied behind his back I couldn't confidently say that he is worse than NP, or better.
-
fair enough.
-
I was mainly agreeing with the last paragraph. Don't think anyone (apart from Lowe) thinks he is a genius just not the devil! -big gap in between!
-
Any daily dose of "bad news for skates" to cheer us up?
-
and been on premier league and fa boards I think! Funny he will never be seen as a football man how ever many games he attends. It still seems strange, as a working class game, to hear that accent talk in football phrases, just doesn't seem right!
-
thanks -and like the Father C!
-
and nearly again last year. Even the decent managers came in when their market value was low -Hoddle and WGS
-
it really is a strong build up for Lowe isn't it? Are you really this petty and thick or on a wind up?
-
another reasoned football post -well done.

I think this is probably the common view amongst fans.
