sorry I think you have got that wrong. DMG showed a high work rate, good movement and some nice touches -throughout the game. Cracking shot as you mention and good finish for the goal. This thread is about yesterdays game and DMG showed all the things he had been lacking. Whether he can keep it going and be consistent who knows, but firmly believe you are wrong about yesterday and he had a suprisingly good game

phil Don't think anyone is saying that they prefer nice football to wins, or that its ok forget the result we played ok, the point made today is that we did play pretty well. This is match reaction, we all know this season is poor but today, we did ok. If (big if) it wasn't for whats gone before this would be good result as well -against Reading. Good spirit, players worked very hard - including McG, good atmosphere and entertaining game.

good post. Think Pearce only out due to it being Reading, wasn't he? Most teams are happy with point away from home hence sit back, leaving our quite skillful midfield to play around but without decent forward play to break them down -Reading wanted a win -actually suited us as you say

agree but would probably give them all a seige mentality and bond them tighter!

no getting rid of Lowe / Crouch and Wilde would be very positive, but a campaign without either mass support or success would be negative. Appreciate you feel it would get support but just think you are miles away from what would happen at the moment. But how will it succeed? Lowe won't step down and as I have posted above don't believe major shareholders will be influenced.

1) I would be very surprised if there was support for mass boycott 2) those who went today probably quite enjoyed it 3) didn't hear anything negative about board/club in ground -think there would be at least some anti-lowe songs before boycott considered 4) as posted earlier don't think there is any logic to it having any effect what so ever and may have negative effect to what you seek
