  1. was in car so flicking between solent and hampshire -both had him and Jan, think this was solent and I put some hampshire ones on the JP thread.
  2. still think he can improve - needs to add the confidence he started season with, to the workrate he showed in bursts when partnered with Euell. Think he has the basic ability to be ok just needs to get his attitude right to put it together
  3. Kelvin - Jan told us to keep it down more and change it for second half and was spot on. We want to show fans the form at home. Every team Jan puts out will always give 100% for him. I am 100% committed to saints, said it before and will say it again I am not interested in going anywhere else.
  4. sorry mate, maybe in bad taste but just teasing about not storming St Marys- its not happening!
  5. you say that, have you had local news on?
  6. thought he had a lot of acne scars!
  7. Lawrie has large portrait of Lowe on his office wall and is not intending to remove it -FACT
  8. of course it is Morph says so...oh no he predicted then went quiet (talking about this time he did this not last time!)
  9. see, knew this was over-reaction
  10. boardroom - room for directors to meet - not public gallery, museum, etc. Is there reminders in public areas for 76? That would concern me, decoration -or as someone else said wallpaper in boardroom -couldn't care less
  11. if you going down that line -wrong Bond!
  12. wrong Charlton? bit weak
  13. lol! got me trying to think of others now!
  14. I agree, he should not be forgotten, and if anything the club should make a more public tribute to him - but to worry about whether the directors (who he hates anyway!) want his picture in their office (of sorts) is yet more backroom obsession IMHO
  15. Hull....away, that will give us lift -unglamorous, miles away and likely to lose!
  16. WALSALL central defender Anthony Gerrard cousin of Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard is being trailed by Southampton in the countdown to the January transfer window. Gerrard, 22, was first targeted by Southampton in the summer and the Saints have kept tabs on him. He handed in a transfer request at the Banks’s Stadium in August. He joined Walsall on a free transfer in 2005 after being released by Everton and is now valued at around £700,000. from Walsall's local paper today.
  17. it's a picture, one picture, of Lawrie -who by all accounts shares mutual hatred with current board members. And its still being discussed as surprising news that they don't want his picture looking at them every day! Has he been disrespected? Are there other pictures of him up? Is there other cup final memorabilia up? Both sides will snipe at each other, hardly news
  18. I didn't know that.
  19. he did mention Pekhart when he was talking about young players with ability but need a goal or two to get their confidence. I agree - would feel more confident in getting goals with likes of John or Rasiak, but think these younger players could do a hell of a lot better than they are if they had a couple of scuffed easy goals to get them going
  20. Kelvin interview- form / confidence improving. fans have helped staying behind the team and not getting on their backs. asked if he thinks he is good enough to step up to premiership or England as JP said he is good as any English goalie - he laughed and said always been good enough
  21. draw fair result. Cork is form player. KD is exceptional this season and likes it to stay at Southampton. Very happy and hope he keeps this form all season. Two clean sheets but need to score more. Looking in January to maybe able to do something about striker but the young strikers all just need a goal as they have ability and when goal comes others will follow. Hoping for home draw against big team for occassion in fa cup. -Chelsea or Man U
  22. looking at these names and the memories -must be one of the most competitive positions in this poll - so why have we always let so many goals in!
  23. agree -not bad will do at mo is fair assessment and realistically what we can aim for at moment.
  24. http://www.4thegame.com/statistics/championship/tables/currentform.html http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_1/table/default.stm just looking back over predictions, home form is still relegation form, however overall its looking bit better. Current form shows team below and around us are in worse form as well. Hopefully can start pulling away to lower/mid-table finish as my guess. Certainly don't look at being left adrift. Predictions? Will we pull clear or be down before Christmas?
  25. David Armstrong saying excellent performance and good tactical move by JP by changing midfield at halftime. Doing ok.
