he clearly didn't address the needs of the club in the January transfer window - in the 21 games following his only window, we gained 51 points, clearly he could have improved that return if he knew what he was doing!

we won't be fighting for survival. This is first summer with Adkins - lets see if he can initiate a more postive start to the season. Dickson was first last season, signed 15 June Richardson was 7 July last year - early enough to get injured preseason! Guly was into August I think

think the half season tickets worked well - suddenly doesn't sound too much to spend and gets people hooked. I know a few who have now had season tickets for years after starting with 1/2 season ticket.

are you allowed to start saving for a ticket before they go on sale?

wouldn't write Howard off, sounds decent player - just (admittedly not watching him every week) but doesn't jump out as being class above Morgan and Chaplow. Sure he is better than Gobbern is at moment though - Cork sounds more first choice / first 11. Wouldn't be disappointed with either

there will be lots of examples, and fans will always warm to / prefer players who make it or improve with saints, however if other managers at same level don't want a player I just wonder if he is best we can do, for where we are aiming

moved couple of years ago, I renewed in first window then chose new seat when they went on general sale
