if Ox-C stays, Lallana and Ox-C are more attacking than most other midfielders.
-
yes. how long did other 'big' clubs who found themselves in 3rd tier take to get promoted?
-
not convinced that it is any tougher. Will see when transfer window closes etc.
-
doubt Boothroyd will be in championship = sounds likely to be with Everton.

think his uncle has pub in portswood?
-
when did Nicola fall out with Danns??!!
-
think Dickson was first?? He was signed 14 June.

not worth guessing until trial starts, who knows strength of evidence, extent of injuries, defence he will put forward, mitigation or aggravating factors, role he played, whether someone else played more significant role. information available to the public, and rumours on here would make anything from a late guilty plea to walking away cleared verdict and if guilty an appropriate punishment being non-custodial through to a years on first offence.

didn't Adkins say in an interview 442 wouldn't be his preferred formation next season?
-
appears to hit problem as skates refusing to write off the sell on clause (50%). Why should they? Mitchell is a tool.

lambert used to play cm
-
if wiki stats are right, he has played 53 games at championship, scoring 8.

far too early to judge a manager's signing record - one January window? Often clubs are only looking at urgent needs to get us through the season. Adkins did a bit of business, and if you look at how we finished the season you can't say he fell short.
-
would have though there are better options who didn't happen to have been born locally.

see his pro-skates comments on his thread!

been watching England for years, hope we don't sign Rooney.

Noadswood? Never heard of it?? -
think he played RB some of the time for us, and today for U21s. What position did he play last season? sounds expensive if he is RB. Would he be a another defensive midfielder?
-
got a feeling they will! If we get back to premiership watching saints will not be cheap. Best bet is to make sure you are an existing season ticket holder when that happens to take advantage of any renewal offer

just to be clear that was copied from OS - not my words!

making his first team debut aged 16 years and 199 days with a late cameo against Huddersfield Town in a 5-0 win at the start of March 2010. He scored on his full first team debut at St. Mary's in a 2-0 win over AFC Bournemouth in the Carling Cup just days before his 17th birthday. There was more good news to come, as he followed that up by signing a three year professional contract with the Club a week later.

surely blokes in their 40's who are struggling with mortgage, young children etc should be ones to get concessions?

skate! Howard said: ‘I’ve heard the rumours and have been getting phone calls about it. ‘People have been asking: “Are you going to Portsmouth?”. ‘The season has just finished and I go on holiday on Monday. That’s all I know at the moment. ‘I’ve got a year left at Reading but it’s been a bit frustrating and I want to play a bit more. ‘I played against Portsmouth towards the end of the season and did really well. ‘I know Steve Cotterill is planning some good things down there. ‘The new owner has come in and they are looking to rebuild. ‘If I wasn’t in the plans at Reading I would be looking to do something like that. ‘I’d definitely be interested in talking to the club. ‘They were in the Premier League not so long ago. ‘I have quite a good record of reaching the play-offs recently and nearly getting promoted. ‘It’s a club I would look to get to and would have a chance of going up. ‘I know Steve Cotterill’s background, although I don’t know him personally. ‘I know Ian Woan from Swindon and there are a few lads I know at the club who have said good things about it. ‘If there was an interest I’d definitely be interested in talking to Portsmouth.

“I enjoyed playing at Southampton and we had a manager who wanted to play football, but it didn’t quite work out and unfortunately at the end of that season they went down,” remembered Cork. “But it’s a great club and they’ve had a good season this year with Nigel Adkins, Crozza (Andy Crosby), people who I was with at S****horpe. “So I’ve only got nice things to say about Southampton and I’m really pleased for them getting promotion back to the Championship. It’s a massive stadium and I think the last game we played there we had about 30,000. They love their football in Southampton. It’ll be a good chance for us to go to a ground with a lot of support behind us to give us a send of before we go away to Denmark seems interesting things to say before international - sounds pretty positive.

Forte and Stephens both assisted in that run.
