  1. Japanese Banks Following the problems in the sub-prime lending market in America and the run on HBOS in the UK, uncertainty has now hit Japan. In the last 7 hours Origami Bank has folded, Sumo Bank has gone belly up and Bonsai Bank announced plans to cut some of it’ s branches. Yesterday, it was announced that Karaoke Bank is up for sale and likely to go for a song, while today shares in Kamikaze Bank were suspended after they nose-dived. Samurai Bank is soldiering on following sharp cutbacks, Ninja Bank is reported to have taken a hit but they remain in the black. Furthermore, 500 staff at Karate Bank got the chop and analysts report that there is something fishy going on at Sushi Bank where it is feared that staff may get a raw deal.
  2. Judging by recent events I wonder just how "Sharp" the banks are ? If a business plan was put together based on :- A) an attendance at home matches of say 21,000 B) an agreed strategy to get rid of the high wage earners Will the banks ask Lowe why he has not been able to accomplish this, if the banks have their fingers on the pulse and know that a number are staying away because of Lowe, is that likely to have an effect on his position? In addition if the league position continues to give concern, could the banks suggest that those assets not being used but still taking their wage be ;put into the team to stabilise things and make them more attractive to sell on. At the moment they are not in the shop window because they are not playing first team football
  3. Nick and Greenridge..we all three of us love the club and have for many years , that is a fact. I suppose that the three of us have totally different views both of the club and some of the directors past and present. The one thing that binds us together (our support excepted) is that we care. Our opinions may vary our concerns do not, and, as long as the debates are both sensible and healthy it can only be good.
  4. Ok I see where you are coming from, but your continual defence of all at SMS is often questionable. However I respect that you do have an opinion , which, is different to mine. I guess we will agree to disagree...mostly

Sundance the one thing that you don't appear to have grasped is that Lowe has no divine right to expect the support of the fans. I keep saying this support like respect has to be earned. He has done nothing to earn that support, he decimated the team, filled it full of reserves and it only became clear that this was happening after most season tickets had been renewed. How is that for both honesty and loyalty? How can you continue with your blinkered view of life at SMS. People would respect you more along with your views if they were tempered with reality. For someone who is clearly an educated individual, you come across as a perverse person or a deliberate wind up merchant.
  6. Nick we know that you have some sort of contacts at SMS is this the reason that you are so supportive of the various boards of directors we have and have had ? Its a fair question, because according to you the sun shines 24 hours a day. Do you never question the happenings of individuals at SMS ?
  7. Yep they have learned so much that they got stuffed on Saturday by 4 goals to 1 Please give me a rest from your silly poitivety
  8. You must love yourself, you are sooo good bet you kiss yourself at bedtime ! If you want to throw your money away I will not try and stop you, but one day you will wake up and realise it was not worth it

I think its time that I sent the guys in white coats around to your abode to take you away. Lets face it your contributions are becoming more irrational by the day. I can only assume that Scooby is educating you. There is loyalty and then there is missplaced loyalty
  10. Even he can't defend the indefensible, his mate has been quiet too
  11. as I said before Lowe needs another 15,000 like you to bail him out
  12. My god you have low standards and expectations 5th bottom a great season?...how Lowe would love another 15,000 like you !
  13. Good for you then, you are easilly satisfied, just the sort of supporter Rupert loves!
  14. This is the point I was making...at which point do you all pull the plug on Lowe / Wilde? They surely cannot expect people to turn up and pay to watch the rubbish currently being served up in the name of football. I have no problem with youth, after all Arsenals team was less experienced and younger than ours and they hammered Sheff Utd 6-0
  15. I believe that I represent the views of the Mr Average doubter, I know that some of the directors I have named read this board...perhaps one or more would like to PM me and convince me why we should still support failed people.
  16. As far as I am concerned you are quite right. I have to say quite a number of those fans who advocate attending matches no matter what, are fans in Exile, many living abroad, who themselves hide behind distance and can withdraw their support but insist on those close to home attending no matter what. Perhaps if they were to see every game then their opinion might change. Loyalty must be earned, its like respect...not freely given. Lowe and Wilde have dumped all over us and, expect us to turn up week in week out...enough is enough. Lets hear some pearls of wisdom from Wilde, Lowe Crouch et al
  17. I normally agree with most of your contributions which are sensible and well reasoned! But let me ask you Steve at what point do we as supporters say enough is enough. Lowe has always both ignored and, taken our support for granted. has invariably gone for cheap options. We have reached now a crossroads where Lowe and Wilde EXPECT us to bail them out having previously both failed in their past tenures. To prop up a failed pair, to prop up a failed board is in my humble opinion going to help nobody. With falling gates poor results and administration coming ever closer, it is perhaps time to allow the club to be put into administration I know some small businesses will lose money, but I believe that a change in ownership is the ONLY way forward. I will be sad to see anybody lose out, but, IF the Phoenix can rise from the ashes then let it do so.
  18. what on earth did you expect? Reality is we will be lucky to survive in this league and to stave off administration
  19. It will be interesting to see just how long it will take Lowe and Wilde to admit we are ****ed, and file for administration. Quite a number believe that Lowe will try and buy the PLC on the cheap, even he is not silly enough to do that, the support would be the same as it is today if he did. It would go into administration again pretty quickly simply because most of us do not want him any where near our club.
  20. Strange how after yet another hammering both Scooby and Sundance have gone AWOL, I am sure Scooby is collecting money to forward on to Lowe so he can sign another striker instead of a defender
  21. We don't need to liven things up on here, we need to liven things up on the pitch
  22. A few thousand more will not turn up for the next home game...and who can blame them. We need defenders and we sign another striker instead, I just don't get it. Just seems nobody cares at SMS these days, I get the feeling that Lowe and Wilde are resigned to relegation.
  23. When will Jan accept that it is defenders we need not strikers or midfield.
  24. I work on the basis that as long as people understand what I am writing ,then spelling does not matter one bit at my age. Too many on here are either failed school teachers or nit pickers!
  25. Very true we do need defenders not more in midfield, is this a vote of no confidence in some of our younger players?
