  1. Perhaps ilingworths rallying call should have been aimed at the players instead. Truely pathetic
  2. He has proven to be a biiger risk than keeping on Pearson. At least he would have stood up to interfering Lowe.
  3. Lowe out before its too late and take your total football with you
  4. Surley there is an alternative apart from a takeover that will give us a chance of success. There Must be an alternative to Youth and Lowes Total football. Any sensible ideas?
  5. How far will Rupert Lowe be allowed to drag our club down before the protests start
  6. I guess I am too old to change but all the enjoyment has gone. It would be easy to pick another team to follow but I can't bring myself to do it. I do however blame Lowe and Wilde for the parlous state of things. The kids total football does not work.!
  7. I have had enough of Lowe and his young revolution ...big time. Lowe out , Wilde out Portaloo out.
  8. To miss one penalty is unfortunate to miss two is plain careless. I thogt also that McG missed his last one so why did they let him take the first. I just get the feeling that he is playing for himself and not the team.
  9. we the supporters do not need Lowe...however Lowe fails to understand that HE needs the supporters
  10. The problem I have with this announcement that was suggested by Illingworth is that he is allegedly a senior official of the largest Saints fans group. to do what he did whilst an official was unpardonable , since he should be advocating the stopping of unfounded rumours and not adding fuel to the fire. The average supporter has been through enough trauma this season without irresponsible attitudes from officials of the Saints Trust.
  11. saints to win 2--1
  12. I think this is a little unfair, Nick stated PUBLICALLY that we were about to be taken over. He should have kept his mouth shut on that as well as this Lowe artcle.
  13. I have a feeling that one of our major contributors who happens to reside in an Arab country will say ...I knew all about this as it w2as going on but could not say anything
  14. I don't believe it, it is just another rumour to wind up those like me who are anti Lowe
  15. Have we been taken over yet ?
  16. if that happens he can say goodbye to a few thousand season ticket renewalls next year !
  17. no comparison...one has money...the other has empty promises
  18. For every Roy Keane there are 20 disasters, Wigley , gray etc
  19. There is a conspiracy...we deleted the last takover thread so someone started one on the UI. If it happens tomorrow (snowballs chance in hell) it will turn out to be somebody like Fulthorpe with no money but big ideas
  20. I think the point made about self serving interest is a fair one. I really believe that there is now an even greater lack of trust in the current directors as far as the supporter is concerned. Much has been made of the reduced attendances, however you do not have to be a rocket scientist to understand that we are not a club with any consistency. Supporters no longer go to home games expecting a win, the attitude is we may win 1--0 or get a mauling. Until we get some consistancy back, there is little hope of supporters returning. As far as the Boardroom politics are concerned the actions there have stiffled much of the enjoyment and loyalty. Lowe and Wilde have returned not to improve the situation, but, by their own public admmission, their priority is to save their investment. While a situation exists like this then football and the supporters will always come second. There is no real hope left, we will always be a desperate second rate side simply because we know that any half decent player will be sold. Its not the future of the club that the directors are trying to secure, but, the investment that they have made. Until the latter changes there is no future for any return to Premiership football in Southampton.
  21. Forget Rudi at the moment can someone answer this question please...what other Experienced players currently on our books is JP refusingto play in the first team
  22. Relegation followed by sales of walcott etc, The most worrying thing for me though is that teams and clubs that were /are inferior in some ways can attract investment and for some reason investors shy away from us. The rise of Reading and Portsmouth where they were playing CCC football then got promoted also took supporters away from Saints while we were in the Prem some of those used to come to SMS.
  23. pointless thread
  24. do you really think he has done it for the club ? or for personal financial motives ?
