Chanderpaul is a big wicket always of course but Di Venuto always seems to score stacks of runs. Strange though how when I check cricinfo invariably nothing has happened ( for us!), come on here and lo and behold 2 wickets gone !
Only a minor interest mainly as Dimi is playing. England won the toss AGAIN and will bat first. No Brett Lee so we might have a slight chance! Teams:

Matt Prior (wk)
Owais Shah
Eoin Morgan
Dimitri Mascarenhas

Australia:

1 x Ew treble, 3 x Ew doubles on :
Haydock 4.00 Novellen Lad
Lingfield 4.20 Chandrayaan
Lingfield 4.50 Merry Diva
All on my short list, all tipped up by Hugh Taylor ( ATR) and all about 4/1-5/1 and in with good chances I reckon.
Good ! They forecast showers today and tomorrow. Just need enough time to get bonus points and then draw the match, would do us nicely especially as they are already 58/0 off 16 overs.
Briggs 5 overs for 10 which is encouragingly economical and suggests he may not be easy to score against. Interesting how Tahir is usually brought on relatively late in the innings.
Couldn't care less what his opinion is TBH. We secured an excellent point at Charlton even without Jaidi and Waigo starting and these 2 players alone will improve us greatly. As has been mentioned we really need to get into plus points, 3 v Yeovil would clearly help and I think this could be the game when we score 4 or 5.
Yes, Briggs is on already, 33/0 off 10 but winning the toss would have helped I suggest. If you include Dawson we actually have 3 spinners plus Griffiths, Cork and dare I say Ervine ( which might explain why Briggs is on 1st change!)
