Well it's going the other way isn't it. The day they stop 4/5 day matches is the day I stop following cricket, hopefully not in this lifetime though !
-
Still if I had a choice of winning the Ashes or winning the ODI series it's no contest !!
-
So we scored 4, Sussex got 2 for making 260 or so.

Ok, this is it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/County_Championship Bonus points are collected for batting and bowling from the first 120 overs of each team's first innings. Batting 200-249 runs: 1 point 250-299 runs: 2 points 300-349 runs: 3 points 350-399 runs: 4 points 400+ runs: 5 points Bowling 3-5 wickets taken: 1 point 6-8 wickets taken: 2 points 9-10 wickets taken: 3 points

Good question ! I lost track of the bonus points system years ago ! Where is Steve Grant when you need him! I do know that last night Hants had enough bonus points to take them above Sussex by one point, current table one point behind.

Shame, 383 all out. However, Moen Ali took 4/29 so hopefully Tahir can weave his magic, Worcs are not the strongest batting team in the world, famous last words though probably!
-
Now 378/9, Tomlinson just out for 23, Cork 43*. Put on 56 for the 9th wicket, just hoping we can sneak up to 400 !

One more thought, there are always a couple of Sky staff in the main shopping centre here looking for new customer, however I had a few problems after I first joined and they sorted them out and I saved a fair bit in the end. So much easier I find talking face to face, would be surprised if they did not have the same kind of thing in one of the Southampton shopping centres.
-
I got it for free when I joined in February, unfair you should have to pay £150 which is a lot anyway. It's really very useful though and I would really miss it now so get it by hook or by crook I say ! I'm not surprised though by their attitude, their Customer Service can be good but when it is bad it's awful !! It might well be a different person you speak to will be more flexible, that is certainly one thing I have found.

Oh well done, saved me typing just that !
-
357/8 at close of play. Cork 28* and Tomlinson 16*. The tail is wagging for once!
-
Yes, but more than enough if it was England chasing !
-
Dimi is playing for Hants today and to be honest I'm glad he's with us as we need him !
-
Than heavens the bowlers can bat ! Bresnan and Sidebottom have pushed it up to 221/8 with 2 overs left. Still nowhere near enough I fear.

It has been that way almost forever! The farce in the 2nd ODI regarding the powerplay was absolutely pathetic. Then they pick players like Bopara and Shah who are so out of form it is not true. For me with everyone fit the team should be something like: Strauss Wright/Lumb ? - this is a real problem and they keep chopping and changing. Pietersen Trott Collingwood Prior/Foster Morgan Broad Rashid Swann/Sidebottom/Bresnan- Swann for sure if the pitch is good for spinners Anderson Assuming that you play Swann then England bat down to 10 and the bowlers are Anderson, Broad, Swann, Rashid, Collingwood, Wright and maybe even KP though I'd prefer 5 front line bowlers. We are not really spoilt for choice TBH ! Denly is another one to consider and would be at 3 when fit with Pietersen out for quite a while still. Edit Oh for Trecothick to open, I'd feel a lot happier and the batting would be miles better so Wright or Swann could be omitted in place of a specialist bowler, Onions, Bresnan, Sidebottom ?
-
326/8. Tahir made a useful 28.
-
179/6 off 42, at least Morgan is making a decent fist of it.
-
Durham are 296/0 v Notts !
-
Just noticed Moen Ali who bowls spinners has 2/12 so might be something there for Tahir and Dawson.
-
Crucial game for us. We were put in and after recovering well from 119/4 to 280 have now lost 3 quick wickets and are 287/7. Pothas and Adams both made very good 90's but both out very quickly. This is a game we must win so hopefully we can up to about 350.
-
Ah, the Millbrook Estate. I remember it so well!
-
Well it is looking like another feeble batting effort after winning the toss and actually deciding to bat this time. Strauss made an excellent 63 but Bopara ( why on earth is he still in the team ? ) Prior and Shah all failed. 114/4 off 27 with Collingwood on 19 and Morgan on 10. Wright, Swann, Bresnan, Sidebottom and Anderson to come. No place for Rashid, he'd do better than Bopara never mind of course he can bowl too.

That's probably more likely
