  1. Ok, I have finally found a "fix". I am now running Firefox Browser and this has enabled me to instal Flash Player. I have not a clue how or why this works when other downloads didn't but it does ! Thanks for the suggestions. Chris
  2. Lucky old you lol I hope HP will in that case tell me how I do it! I did download 32 bit IE but at the end of the download was told it was not compatible wih my 62 bit PC
  3. My final option it appears was to write to Packard Bell as below, I'm almost sure there is no solution until a new version of Adobe Flash Player is released ( I believe they are working on it) Re: Purchase of PC IExtreme X6618 UK I have just taken delivery of new Packard Bell PC. The aim of course was to improve further my enjoyment of the world of computers and particularly the Internet. However, as far as I have been able to ascertain the fact I have IE 64 installed ( and cannot it seems run IE 32) means I cannot use any version of a Flash Player which would enable me to enjoy sites such as Youtube. Now I still have my old PC and it seems the only way I could access this and other sites is to swap back and forth between the 2 PC's which not surprisingly I find absurd. Is there actually a way I can download a suitable and compatible Flash Player or am I going to have to resign myself to the very inconvenient choice of either not accessing many sites or indeed using both my PC's !? I await your reply with interest. Regards, Chris O'Bee
  4. I wish it were that simple in which case I would not have posted on here. Does not work I'm afraid.
  5. Thanks Ponty but how do I do that !??
  6. I'm trying to download Adobe Flash Player onto a new PC but just get this message which might as well be written in Swahili for all the sense it makes to me : Flash Player support on 64-bit operating systems Issue -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Adobe Flash Player is not supported for playback in a 64-bit browser. However, you can run Flash Player in a 32-bit browser running on a 64-bit operating system. Reason -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Adobe is working on Flash Player support for 64-bit platforms as part of our ongoing commitment to the cross-platform compatibility of Flash Player. We expect to provide native support for 64-bit platforms in an upcoming release of Flash Player following Flash Player 10. Solution -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To use Flash Player to view Flash content on a 64-bit operating system, youmust run a 32-bit browser. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks !
  7. Rather like England losing 6-1 to Andorra!
  8. The same Argentina who are currently 4th behind Brazil and the mighty Paraguay and Chile in the South American qualifying group ? Just as well for them the top 4 go through methinks.
  9. 84/2 at stumps suggest probably not ! Just hope the rain we have had here heads NE fast !! However, it does make you wonder how switching from 20/20 to a 4 day match within 2 days may not be ideal albeit of course the same for both sides.
  10. Are you sure it was not a piece of ultra fast editing on the part of Sky ? Can't believe Athers called him a winner.
  11. I'm just flipping glad I no longer live in Southampton, must have the highest percentage of manic depressives in the world !!
  12. No sooner requested..........
  13. Bl**dy hell, Hants would have beaten Holland and how Dimi did not play is mind boggling, in fact I would have chosen him as captain especially as he learnt so much from Warney.Mind you though I would never have omitted Strauss from the 20/20 side, that was absurd as you only want one captain and I don't care if it's a Test match or a 1 over a side match continuity is vital. England cannot deal with any kind of pressure without the calming influence of Strauss.
  14. Well Jans Vaarsveld was very philosophical about it. I have to say for me there is something that just seems to go against the spirit of the game.
  15. Well it's a disgraceful result and I have a feeling we might not have heard the last of this.
  16. Hants win by 75 runs. Looks like the hard work Giles White said we'd put in for 20/20 is beginning to pay off. Excellent stuff.
  17. Meanwhile Essex 133-8.
  18. Sussex won via the stupid DL method. They made 131-3. Kent 61-0 off 11 when bad light ended play ?? I assume the floodlights failed? Anyway a "win" for Sussex by 2 runs, I know who I would have had at long odds on to win and it was not them. At their ground as well, highly suspicious if it was floodlight failure !!
  19. 121-6 now, another crushing win for us on the way.
  20. 112-5 off 14.4. Need a highly improbable 108 off 32 balls !
  21. Must be close to our highest ever 20/20 score ? Surely Lumb's 124 is a best for Hants. Essex 15-3
  22. Fame and Glory was very good value when the market was 1st formed with 10/1 available. However, at around 4/1 which was the price when I last looked on Betfair that value has long since gone. As you would expect this is a really tough race to call and I doubt I will get involved but if I had to make a selection it would be Black Bear Island which of course won the Dante (a good Derby trial) and is bred for the derby (Sadler's Wells out of Darshaan mare).
  23. I have Setanta mainly for RUK which is actually very good I believe, at least you get a proper look at the horses in the parade ring unlike on ATR which as someone once said should be Adverts Then Racing. So for £9.99 per month it's not worth worrying about anything other than if RUK will become a stand alone sevice or if ATR will take over their meets which will = chaos!! Shame as the presenters on ATR are excellent as with pretty much all Sports covered by Sky.
