  4. Roger Milford is in this weeks installment.... www.leagueoneminus10.blogspot.com
  5. We've won 3 games once Wotton returned to the side... so lets leave him out. mellis and Schneiderlin is too lightweight so hammond, Wotton and Schneiderlin in front for me...
  6. At the start of last season he played well for 70 mins and then got very very tired to the point where he just gave the ball away all the time. when he came back into the side at the end he was better but I don't think he's really got it. Good luck to him however as he always tried his best.
  7. Let me guess.... Went to pub Had a shandy Got mouthy ****ed my pants Watched game Ate pie Fell asleep in car ****ed pants again Argued over petrol money

  10. updated again
  11. Davis 6 - Thought he was slow on the goal. Didn;t seem to realise it was going over him James 5 - **** poor first half, improved in the second. Hardng 7 - Decent game,s eemed to get targetted for some rough stuff Jaidi 8 - The boss. Trotman 6 - If you accept that he's a defender and that's it, he's bearable. Mellis 6 - mixed bag Hammond 7 - adds aggression Wotton 7 - even though he has half the technical ability, is twice as effective as Morgan Waigo 7 - interesting. Will delight and frustrate in equal measure Lambert 9 - Superb display lallana 9 - I reckon he was taken off cos Pards didn;t want too many headlines for him if he'd scores a 3rd
  12. I thought your Curran was Funnell. I now think that Graham Baker looks a bit like Alan Ball Channon/Homes is Holmes
  13. Tony Sealy, Ivan Golac, Manny Andruszewski, Chris Nicholl, Ted McDougall, Trevor Hebberd, Malcolm Waldron, Terry Gennoe, Tony Funnell, Maybe Graham Baker and one I have no idea about
  14. Mike Pickering was centre back around that time. Steve Neville was mostly a reserve
  15. No 1 - no, No 2 - yes. First one was shocking.... Anyone remember the Kevin Phillips one a couple of years back where he got tackled outside the box, ran five yards into the box, dived and won a pen with no one else in the penalty area... and then the mobile phone salesman...
  16. It was Flybe and I was 'advised' to remove it... www.leagueoneminus10.blogspot.com now has added Yeovil.
  17. If you have a spare few minutes... www.leagueoneminus10.blogspot.com
  18. I cannot see Papa being played on the wing where he has to track back and help the full back in an away game against the best team in the league in his first game in English football. He'll be up front if anywhere but I'd say he's more likely to be a sub. You could bring him on, on the wing with 25 to go if we're losing. So... -----------------Davis Thomas-----Perry--------Trotman-----Harding Lallana------James------Hammond-----Mills -------------Saga-------Lambert Subs: Bart, Wotton, Mellis, Schneiderlin, Paterson, Holmes, Waigo If it was a home game I'd pick Schneiderlin ahead of James
  19. He should play but should be the more forward of the two central midfielders. When he plays in the holding role (as he did under the ****wit Poortvliet) he just coasted around in front of the back four and did nothing. He can pick a pass, he can go past people and he can shoot.
  20. Davis 8 - Dealt well with anything that came his way - the odd cross that landed 5 yards out that he didn't come for. Thomas 7 - Good game I thought - looks confident at right back Trotman 6 - Good 2nd half but Darren Powell like in the first - the corner he gave away when trying to clear it over his shoulder was a particular highlight. Perry 7 - Same as always, solid and reliable Harding 7 - Troubled for pace sometimes against No7 but a good game Mellis 5 - Send him back - too lightweight and not a winger in the slightest James 6/2 - He winds me up - not bad in midfield but when he went toright back he was sh!t. Crosses from the half way line are never going to work. Hammond 7 - Some decent stuff and shots but some terrible crosses. Lallana 8 - Pretty good game I thought. Lambert 6 - Did what he could winth zero service below 9 foot and a referee who didn't give him one free kick all game Paterson 2 - Abysmal. Doesn't seem to have any awareness of anything and no clue about the offside rule. Subs: Thomson 2 - this guy is a waste of space. hopefully won;t be near the squad when Waigo gets in. Schneiderlin 8 - what a difference when he came on. Class player. In with Hammond next time please. Mills 6 - Started very well, then faded, the came back into it. once he gets fit should be very near a start.
  21. By no stretch of the imagination is Trotman a class player. He's ok in a limited way and he does a job in this league. he'd be shocking against a mobile attack.
  22. Totally agree. He's the Scottish Steve McClaren - very very average club record, gets the national job and no one really knows why, one qualifying campaign to prove what everyone else already knew and off you go...
  23. --------Davis Thomas
  24. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiiiigo Papa Way-a-a-go Now in Southampton and he gotta new home... Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiiiigo etc. I'll get me coat
  25. I read this as that the work permit has been cleared by to Dept of Employment and just has to be ratified by the Football League which I would imagine is a formaility. Mind you, I'm optimistic, rather than borderline suicidal about my team - there are so many on here who should not go near the Itchen Bridge on a match day.
