Has anyone pondered a scenario where Hull go down and West Ham stay up by a point. Would Hull have a case along the line of 'if the Prem had enforced their rules and thrown Pompey out for trading whilst insolvent and expunged all the results, we and not West ham would have stayed up'. Funny how it's West Ham again after all the Tevez stuff. at least this time it's not their fault.

as a rule I only go to weekend home games - there's a lot more waffle and rambling in the reports of the games I don't go to. Obviously I see some on TV or listen to the radio commentary. Others (like the recent Wycombe away) game, I don't hear a thing until the final score.... Nah, keep the name I reckon as that was the starting point. When we win the champions League it'll be a ncie reminder of where we started under Markus / Nicola. I may start a Pompey one next yeat called "Blue Square South Minus 25":smt059

OK...so Pards rests him for a game and for whatever reason, we don't win. I can just imagine the reaction on here, let alone Cortese's reaction.

The whole starting XI from the Walsall game is easily good enough.... as are Thomas, Connolly and Bart. James would be as a squad player as would Antonio. Not sure about Papa.

very good, trouble is - that thread is ****ing huge and I missed this one. I try and keep up with it but it's impossible. He was crap. Just hoofed it 70 yards the way he was facing. Was talking to some Walsall fans in the pub after the game - apparently his Dad used to play for them years ago. But yes, he was huge... about 6ft 7 I reckon
