glad he .s a premiership player ,only met him once a few years ago at the gate inn burgess road with his saints mad relations who i know ,seems a nice guy .

i agree with you,seeing it was his first season and was still learning his trade. i think he did well and hope we keep him,because i think hes going to a be good player for us.

don,t think rupert was around at the time. burley was manager and the club was loseing money bigtime and k jones was refuseing to play alledgley ,makes you wonder now if that stagemanaged for the fans so they could sell him. but at least we got stern in .

yep its getting hard to read these threads with some posts being the same old tired brain dead comments recycled by the usual suspects on every thread they post on. i hope the club survives and just praying for someone to take over this club and would rather wait for the right people, then rush into anything quckly which we may regret later.

the trouble with that is it took 3 years to build his reading side for promotion .alot of our posters like to sack managers after 5 matchs without a win so what chance has any manager got. decent manager by the way.

thats funny hoddle played the diamond system for us and 4-4-2 and 4-5-1 when we did well,all good managers play a varient of systems . i don,t care what the system any of our managers play as long hs it works.

i would be happy if he stayed on ,i think we need a manager for more then one season at a timeto have a stable structure at this club.
