there is a little problem that people seem to forget when discussing moving the away fans........ The Itchen North stand has executive boxes, so there is NO WAY that the club will house away fans there, what with the risk of violence and abuse being thrown in the direction of the boxes. And they can't move the away supporters to the Kingsland north as there are only 4 sets of exit gates for the entire Kingsland stand, so they would have to dedicate one set of 2 gates(Kingsland North)for the away fans (as home and away fans could not mingle at the end of a game), which leaves approx 3/4 of the kingsland stand all struggling to get out of one 2 gates......which would cause a serious crushing risk..........the only alternative is to house them in what was the Junior Saints (old family enclosure), but i personally don't think that would be big enough......

i am (just about ) in the demographic mentioned.....i have NEVER taken cocaine, and i am not likely to ever take it.......tbh, it scares the sh1t out of me. (besides, even though i'm 36, my Dad would kill me if he found out!!! :smt075 LOL ) I have ,years ago, taken speed two or three times, which was ok for going clubbing, but it meant that i couldnt sleep AT ALL until the next night , which really peed me off. i tried a joint when i was 17ish, but all it did was give me a stomach ache and make me feel tired, so didn't see the point in doing it again. i have a couple of friends who smoke dope daily and then, when going out, they take coke........ it all seems a bit sad IMO.....

IMO , the death penalty is NOT about getting justice.....its about retribution and evening the score......
-
well, i am a cuckquean but never went and killed anyone because of it......... Ruth Ellis' crime was that of murder, let's not forget that.......should she have hanged for it though??? the law at the time says 'yes' , but i'm not so sure myself....
-
your post would be funny, if it wasn't such an accurate depiction of how some people actually think!!!
-
helpful..........thanx for your input!!
-
because people on here were going on about how having the death penalty would stop people/reduce the numbers of people committing murder....which is complete nonsense!!!!....
-
exactly my point though!!!.....they do this KNOWING that the penalty will be death.....but yet, they STILL do it........hence NO DETERRENT WHATSOEVER!!!!!!!.
-
no , nor did i!!.....i bought my ice skates from the London Road shop 22 years ago!!!......was gutted when it closed down!
-
yeh, coz that works in America doesn't it........ the death penalty is NOT a deterrent..... and ,as the saying goes, and eye for an eye leaves everybody blind.......
-
i don't have particularly strong views on either side of the argument...there are pros and there are cons (if you'll pardon the pun) ...like people on here say, there are so many variables to each case that you cannot really have a blanket ruling, UNLESS there is indisputable evidence (multiple witnesses + DNA evidence,etc)....there is far too high a risk that innocent people would be killed in the name of justice. BUT there are people who could not POSSIBLY be rehabilitated, those who do not deserve to breath the same air as you or i, but who gets to decide where that line is drawn????..i don't know... the one thing that always causes me to question the death penalty's validity is the fact that it is imposed in a country as a deterrent yeh??........... now, given the US's murder/mass murder statistics , it doesn't appear to be much of a deterrent there, does it........:-|

that link is invalid.......(although, i'm not too sure i want to read the story, going by your post!)

I like to have lots of fun with my dogs and cats , ....... if you think you fit the bill, then why not go on and PM me.......and we can see what happens.....afterall, the longest journey... ermmmm... starts with.... erm a single step ..... (all said in a cheesy American accent!!) ooooohhhh.... RIP ....... i remember watching him and his wife on TV dancing at some American Award ceremony.....it was very moving, you could see the adoration they had for each other.... sad news indeed....

fried egg pate, with partially melted butter.......mmmmmm =P~ strawberry jam

go to the Megastore at SMS........ if youre driving up then i would get off the m27 at Hedge End and come down through Bitterne and Northam. You will probably get stuck in a bit of traffic , but nowhere near as much as if you come into the actual city centre (West Quay area). the Megastore is much better than the West Quay shop anyway, PLUS its free parking!.....

i was in Whiteley with my son when they flew over today........... me and another mum were thrilled at the sight, while our kids seemed completely underwhelmed!!

yeh, i loved Game On, the guy (can't remember his name now) was such a d1ck!!! very funny!! i love The Office, it is hilarious. The first series of Extras was one of the funniest things i've seen (particularly the Kate Winslet phone sex scenes :smt005, and the Orlando Bloom "Willy Wonka?, Johnny w4nk3r more like!:smt043) but i too thought that series 2 really wasn't that funny........ the "sitcom" storyline just seemed to detract from the real comedy,i thought.
