  1. then i suggest you make sure you're sitting on your hands and keeping your mouth firmly closed if (when) Manure score......
  2. this is the sad truth unfortunately.......give (some) people an inch and they'll take a mile....best not to give them the inch in the first place
  3. nice idea, but there is no way in hell that supporters from the Northam will want to sit in the Chapel!! (or anywhere else for that matter!)...like i said, nice idea but it will never work.....:smt009
  4. sorry Norm, only 15 year olds (or comparable mental-age) allowed :yawinkle:
  5. no-one is being discriminated against......they are more than welcome to exit the ground any time they like.............they just aren't allowed back in again , same as everybody else ......
  6. so don't say he didn't want to when he CLEARLY did!! i think leaving it as it is is the best solution tbh... unlike other entertainment venues SMS and other football grounds contain 2 sets of opposing fans. if the club decided on a 'hand-stamp' scenario then they would have to allow both home and away fans out. it doesn't take a genius to figure out what would happen when those 2 sets of fans (who had been goading each other the entire first half) met ,unsupervised, in the North car park..... and for those who are just about to jump in with "have stewards in the car park then"......the club DO NOT have the funds or stewarding levels to make it safe...
  7. i think it is YOU that should read the whole thread again.....by smoking in the concourse he was breaking not only H&S rules, but the law!!!!. another point i'd like to make is that those of you who want facilities for smokers outside do realise that you wouldn't be able to take your alcohol out there with you, don't you??.......(mmmmm pint or fag, fag or pint??) decisions,decisions...............
  8. i meant it as in, by choosing to break the law he made a choice between staying in the ground for the 2nd half and watching his team or missing it because he thought he'd try n be clever and 'sneak' a fag the OP is not the first person to be ejected for smoking , so it's not like people aren't aware that if they smoke, they WILL be ejected!!!...
  9. fans have had a year and a half to get used to this ban.....we KNOW we're not allowed to smoke inside the ground, so why should they warn him???.....get the idiot out if he'd rather have a puff on a cancer stick than watch his football team.......
  10. isn't it strange that its mostly the ones who want to break the rules that have a problem with the stewards!..
  11. so you're not going back because you were ejected for breaking the law??
  12. erm, didn't you say that before??? and yet, where were you on Sunday??? LMAO!
  13. i thought that it does (or at least used to) list certain ground regulations on the backs of tickets, 1 of which being "photographic or audio/visual recording equipment is prohibited" , or something like that. (i could be wrong tho) i have a mate who's a steward and i asked him about this. he said that they were instructed before the last game to inform people that the taking of photos with a digital or professional looking camera (big lenses etc)during the match was prohibited......however, mobile phone cameras were acceptable , as the pictures are not really likely to be saleable..(is that a word?? ), and also pictures taken of friends/family were ok too... HTH x
  14. call it Chris............chris mouse :smt114
  15. WTF is wrong with you men?????? can you not understand a simple instruction????? she said she wanted a new phone she said she wanted an i-pod why is it that you didn't get her the items requested?? it's not rocket science!!!!!!! get her a new phone AND an I-pod.......simple why do men have to bloody complicate things by using their "initiative"?? when a woman ASKS for something, then get her what she asked for....NOT what YOU think she'd like..........i hope you have learnt a very important lesson today SK
  16. ok, NOW we are back in it!!! COME ON LADS!!!! burnley will be well on the defensive now, strike while the iron's hot!!!!!:smt026
  17. according to radio hants "we are back in it!" ........slightly optimistic IMO!!

  20. i like Sandwich Spread, it reminds me of my packed lunches at school.....(many moons ago)
  21. i have those very same tissues parked next to me as i type!.....they are the nuts!!!...no Rudolphesque nose for me, i tell ya!! doesn't stop me feeling like complete cr@p tho, unfortunately ....
  22. i agree, it made for very difficult reading..........the poor little soul......
  23. i am hoping that you actually attended the game...... every supporter i spoke to on Saturday said they could only compare the atmosphere to that of the Derby Play-off game..... i had a bloody excellent day there, singing my head off and getting behind the lads and yes, there were lots of people who didn't sing, but do not forget that a large slice of those members of the fanbase who don't want to sing, have been financially and emotionally contributing to our football club for longer than you've probably been alive, so to call them 'plastic' is a bit of an insult IMO
  24. never put a light bulb in ya back pocket HTH x
