Have they got round to the preamble yet?
-
More like they weren't expecting Middlesex to win as they were looking down and out in the middle of their innings. Would have been awkward if Barker had to bowl against Warks, his team next year. Looking at the PCA MVP ratings I see Gubbins is top of the batting and surprisingly Neal is top of the bowling.

There was something in the YT commentary about Hants having to forfeit home advantage for a knockout match but I didn't catch it properly so not sure.
-
Vince on his current form, no thank you.
-
Not for everyone but an interesting debate this evening on whether Muhammad existed.
-
Barker going back to Warks next year.

Confirmed Weatherley has a broken arm and will be out for the rest of the season.
-
Fuller back in squad so can be done.

On YouTube 2nd half starts at 7:30

Is it possible for Hants to play Albert if he doesn't feature in the Hundred? It was possible in some previous years.
-
Worrying that Weatherly couldn't finish his innings with a hand injury.
-
A commentator today said he was only playing 3 matches.

In his post match interview Gubbins implied Tilak won't be available for the whole tournament. Hants have signed Scotland all-rounder Brandon McMullen to play from Aug 13th.

One day cup today vs Glamorgan. Will need a good score as bowling looks inexperienced with Neal from Herefordshire and Lumsden from the academy. Tilak out for a 🦆. Was hoping to see his white ball skills in action.

Should have used it as motivation to take their wickets.
-
Do you know why Barker isn't playing?

I presume Labour have done the calculations and found it will benefit them! -
No worries. Finals Day will be the 4 southern teams as usual .

Great for Liam but bad news for Hants. Is Organ good enough to be leading spin bowler? At least he will have Barker's footprints to bowl into.

I asked the question to perplexity (ai) and this is what it replied. Reply from perplexity

Albert now third highest scorer in the blast this year.

BBC starts a special live text feed to cover Mulder beating Lara's test record and he declared before doing so. https://www.bbc.com/sport/cricket/live/c1ljrvg1d66t

Especially as Chris Lynn is out injured (he didn't field yesterday). A bit rusty as he hadn't played since January.
