  1. He was dreadfully slow and ineffective. Has to be Osvaldo next week.
  2. One goal margin flattering to the Mackems - how good have our midfield been? Would consider Clyne on for Chambers.
  3. Talking about Nigel; looks like Mr Pearson will be back at St Marys next season.
  4. There is a lot not to like about our former Chairman. He'd be a riot to have a pint with at the local.
  5. Yes, he will. It feels like a 50/50 call whether he will stay.
  6. Deflating story, and it's hard to see NC staying this time and thus MP gone as well. With the Liebherr family not interested in Football and having honoured the five year plan it certainly looks like an upheaval.
  7. Don't forget Jos at CB. It was a remarkable draw in the end.
  8. Watch the replay of the Cardiff game and remind yourself Yoshida is a very good CB. I hope he stays - was excellent in 2012/2013 too.
  9. It's not Mo Po, Gladys Go.....don't respond to this clown, even though I have.
  10. Watching that clip reminds me of how good Boruc is, and how many on target shots he has snuffed out.
  11. I was surprised when KD was given a new contract - it seemed to be about loyalty rather than ability and performance.
  12. I would be sad to see him go. I know he had a delayed start this season due to Fed. Cup but his few opportunities after a very good 12/13 season have been baffling.
  13. We don,t have the players on the park at the moment to be top eight. Just outclassed today.

    Tar, Wes.
  15. Great clip. Happy birthdat GDP; you have been an important part of the Club's rise to the EPL.
  16. Derry - having watched the full game twice on TV, live and in replay I would hold JWP primarily responsible for both goals with Luke sharing a little of the blame for the first. While Davis' role was more difficult once Cork was replaced he tracked back several times including a block on Lukaku where he covered for both JWP and Luke. I feel JWP should be making way for Morgan, not SD.
  17. Yes, but couldn't you be a slightly less read nobody.
  18. Shaw is outstanding and is headed for the top. Go back to the Cardiff game and you will see several assists when he has got in behind the defence and provided opportunities not taken. The young player I fear may not kick on as expected is JWP. I am still not sure what his right position is; if it's attacking midfield then there is little evidence of forward thrust or many incisive passes. If it's DM then robustness and tackling are not great. I see parallels with Simon Gillett and even Surman.....never quite delivering on promise. Would like to see more of Reed to compare the two.
  19. There would not be many Prem teams turning away Jack Cork. Has hit a couple of impressive long range shots at goal lately too....surely he has impressed MP over the past month or so.
  20. Tough game; I keep thinking of the Man City game with a weakened side though when we conceded early and it looked like being a blow out. I know it won't happen but I'd consider playing Lovren in Morgan's role alongside Davis and Cork and leave Yoshida at CB. JWP just does not look a 90 minute player in an intense game and even his set piece and dead ball delivery has not been great lately.
  21. Pound for pound (value for money) Steve Davis must be the best bit of business for ages. Great touch, skill, awareness and mobility. He, Cork and Scheiderlin dominated midfield today.
  22. Quite apart from the awful defending - Lovren excepted - it was the lack of creativity and run in attack that stood out. Two pieces of great skill by Lallana and a cameo from Ramirez at the end was about it.

I don't think there would be a person on this Forum who would disagree with you.
  24. AP is no w@nker = If you listen to his post-match interview he is very fair and complimentary to us - greeted MP and Adam pre-game as well. He deserves our respect for his contribution to the SFC, as of course does Nigel.
  25. Glas Go, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and imagine there isn't a hint of one culture/one language in your comments = it really doesn't matter what language MP speaks in his press conferences - a lot of what is translated is honest, open and clear; unlike other Managers we have had in recent times. What matters is how good a Manager/Coach MP is, and thus far I'd say he is doing well. There is much more insult and offence in your statement than my reply, but I doubt you would see that given the history of your posts. Happy Xmas.
