In effect they are trying for a win-win for both AFCB and SFC (tho not the SFC fans unfortunately). If AFCB drop their cut which in turn means SFC can realise what they consider an acceptable net fee then both have monies coming their way. If Saints can't net what they want they won't sell and there'll be no percentage going to Bournemouth either.
-
Because SFC would only be interested in the net gain of any transfer not the gross fee. If his representatives persuade AFCB to take less then it might smooth the way for any transfer netting SFC more.

He only makes 4 posts per non-match day. He produced a pie chart to prove it. Bless.

There's not many on here who get more things wrong

I'm sure that can be interpreted in many ways but my reading would be he's pretty relaxed about it, he's focussing his efforts on the team not on a new contract and in any case he's got a year left that he will be honouring regardless. In saying that, I'll be pleasantly surprised if he is with us by the start of the 2014/15 season however.

Daily Mail linking him to Spurs again today as Sherwood's tenure seems to be drawing to a close.

As opposed to a 'nice' bullet?
-
We were 9th when he left? So 4th to 9th.....
-
Not so good. He had a bad hip and had just signed Neil McCann.

Strachan had a win ratio of 34.xx at Saints whilst MP is currently at 37.xx
-
The last six months of his tenure we were going backwards.

Post Match Reaction: Crystal Palace 0-1 SAINTS

His mum and dad are forum members. -
Poor old dune, he does seem to make himself look a bit of a plonker some times. Anyway he's had plenty of bites so I guess he's happy. It takes all sorts and this should be recognised.
-
Would I be angry? No. Would I be a tad disappointed? Yes. Would I understand that this is the reality of modern day football? Absolutely.
-
Personally I don't think he will be here next season but I'll save my energy in worrying about it. I don't think you need feeding any more.
-
Other than possibly Real Madrid pretty much every club in the world is a feeder club to some degree dune. It also brings significant revenue so the club(s) can survive. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to work out it's a fairly decent strategy. We also aren't 'relying' on it. See Lovren, Ramirez, Fonte, Boruc, Yoshida, Wanyama.............

That's not the point though is it. There aren't a multitude of threads saying he is definitely staying. You keep stating (completely subjectively and without any conclusive evidence it would seem) that his body language says his heart is not in it so it's up to you to prove this is the case not the other way round. Quite simple really.

Should MP drop Lambert for the Palace game!

Should MP drop Lambert for the Palace game!

No one player is beyond being dropped, even SRL. In saying that I don't see a great deal of alternative options. Whilst he might not be playing as well as he was earlier in the season I still see him as an important part of how the team is set up and how we play. In saying that, as we are treading water in the league with little to play for as such then giving Gallagher some pitch time could be a useful exercise at some point. -
You should post up your pie charts again. You know, the ones where you concluded that you make, on average, 4 posts per non-match day. That's where 'it' went wrong I believe.

Mauricio Pochettino staying as Southampton manager - Official
Greenridge replied to Ashley Grute's topic in The Saints
As you well know it was widely posted on here, I didn't do any 'homework' just observation. Surely it's better to call someone by their name rather than resort to childish name calling? Let's be clear I actually find some of what you post relevant, interesting and quite often accurate. It's a shame you post so much other crud that makes finding your decent posts such a challenge. Enjoy your Sunday. As for the topic, as I've said before I really hope he stays but I think he'll be off in the summer unfortunately. -

You should say that a few more times. It's really funny, no it is.
