There is plenty wrong with football, or more to the point with Premier League football. Ultimately, there is too much money in the game and money has a horrible habit of making arses of people. It is what it is, there is still plenty to enjoy about being a Saint.

Dani has had many chances at many different clubs now, ultimately all ending with him not performing and causing disruption. It's an expensive mistake but I fear a bigger mistake would be having him back amongst the squad.

A lot is being said about the 25% sell on clause. What would happen if we sold Adam for say £15m and took Coutinho too? Would a value have to be applied to Coutinho and 25% of that amount also paid to Bournemouth? I like Coutinho.

Frank, surely it's more naive to have a "£30m" left back while the starting centre backs and holding midfielders cost us less in total to put together. The sale of Luke would give us an opportunity to improve the squad in other areas as well as secure his replacement - surely that makes more sense?

Germany - Bayern is the only side that could afford him - highly unlikely. Russia - loadsa money but highly unlikely Ad would want to move his young famo there... bad enough heading up to Liverpool!

Why 25m?? I love Adam as a player but would I pay £20m to have him in my squad? Definitely not.
