Players that move are 99% of the time linked to other clubs - it's a fundamental negotiating position to take. Why didn't he go to Barce, Liverpool or Spurs at the time? I suspect that the links may not have been as strong as suggested in the media. Change happens but I'd be gutted if Morgan and Lovren left. They are outstanding players but they also have age on their side. IMO the club should significantly up their contracts for this coming season, ask for one more season to push us to the next level.

Warming Lyon's bench to first team PL football for a side that finished 8th is not a step down... IMHO.
