The Saints twitter is, quite frankly, embarrassing.

If we do go up this season, how many of the players we have at the moment are going to play in the CCC? We've signed Barnard but the chances are Pardew will splash out on another striker if we do go up. I feel quite sorry for the players we are signing as they will be replaced by better players as we progress. If we do ever make it to the Premier League, you can bet we won't be playing Fonte, who was quoted as saying Saints were a quicker proposition to get to the promised land than Crystal Palace.

Perhaps. But, if the Coventry Telegraph is to be believed, the fact they reported Ward signed is testament to the calibre and speed of their contacts. The Telegraph states the deal was practically done and dusted before the plug was pulled. A fast thinking news organisation would have taken that as enough reason to report he had signed. They even reported the length of his contract. Not many deals are pulled at such a late stage from the club's own accord. It's usually a player finding, or waiting for, another club (ala Robinho) or if the player has failed a medical. This is a strange deal and I wouldn't blame Sky for what they did.

Whoever is doing the official twitter account for Saints is extremely amateur, unprofessional and embarrassing. The remark about Sky is disrespectful to one of the most accurate media outlets going.

Andy's been boozing with Gary Lineker in the Grampus Eight clubhouse all afternoon.

It's very good but needs a few listens to get into. More Gimme Fiction than Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga. Don't think it's as good as Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga though, that album was stellar. Can't wait to see them live. White Rabbit are supporting their UK tour. Also, Contra is very, very good. Giving Up The Gun - what a tune!!

Just started up Transference by Spoon for the first time. Excited is an understatement.

Cheers mate, I think the camera works pretty well. They do say it adds 10lbs though, so they may have a point. Yeah raiding loads at the moment, loving it. It's time to kick ass and chew bubble gum, but I'm all out of gum. I'm getting loads of people telling me to get out of vent.

Gutted I can't go but I'm seeing them a week before. Girls are playing at the Talking Heads a couple of days after. I'm gonna miss that too but I've more than made up for it by getting tickets to see Spoon at the Electric Ballroom.
