Yeah, I woke up (seems to be going well so far) and I bump into Megan Fox in the supermarket when buying beers for today's game (should be popping there in the next half hour). We get on really well and I invite her back to mine. Don't know what the score was being busy and all.

The slating of Rory Delap's time here is a travesty, in my opinion. God knows how many times I've posted on here sticking up for the bloke but I don't understand why so many Saints fans didn't rate him here. He was a pivotal part of our FA Cup final team and thrived under Strachan. It's massively unfortunate he wasn't utilised in the correct way by subsequent managers. The way he has performed since he was with us is a testament to actually how good he is. £4 million for Delap in his prime is very good business.

If Cortese was to sack Pardew any time soon, it would show this club isn't the club I hope it is under the new leadership. How on earth can the board sack a manager who has clearly got the best record of any Saints manager we have had for years? He's had a ten point deduction to work with, he's had to deal with the rot that had set in since relegation, he's had to take a club on its last whim and revive it to the position it's in now. We're a game away from Wembley, we're the ONLY League One side left in the FA Cup, we're one of the most feared teams in the league (despite recent results) and he's at the helm of possibly the most exciting period this club's history. Why are people questionning him? It seems as if a lot of Saints fans have been caught up in the "instant results" mantra that is eating away at this game and expect it as much as the ruthless numpties running a lot of clubs in this country. I am so glad I'm from Southampton and have the pleasure of supporting this team at the moment, and not having to put up with the stress that say Pompey or QPR are having to go through. I would love it if, say in the next five years or so, Liebeher and Cortese are still at the club and are viewed positively by other clubs in the way Bill Kenwright is at Everton and letting his manager do what he wants. We've been through so much turmoil since Strachan left yet people are still not satisfied! Unbelievable, it really is.

It is disappointing not to come away with a win but Exeter are a good side at home. I was at St James' Park last season when we were a crap team in the Championship and they were a decent League 2 side. We were AWFUL and should have lost but the quality of McGoldrick and John got us through it. I am still going with the "5 year plan" and not getting carried away. There was ZERO chance we were going up this year and I guarantee that most people who post on here would have been happy with a mid-table finish at the start of the season, considering our predicament. Typical fickle football fan syndrome kicks in after a few good results, which is why I cannot stand a lot of Saints fans. Yes, we have spent a lot of money but you cannot get a completely different team to gel straight away. What fills me with confidence is that we will completely p*ss over this league next season with the players we have and I am sure more will be brought in over the summer. We will be an attractive outfit for most players in the Championship/League One, I would have thought, and I can see some big names coming to us to go along with the likes of Fonte, Lambert, Barnard, Davis, Lallana,Schneiderlin etc. WE will get promoted next season with Pardew at the helm. Just be patient.

Nice selection of listens, Wiltshire Saint. A perfect lazy Sunday line-up. This is the general consensus from a lot of music publications. I've not heard much Midlake but some love it but some have slated it. I might obtain it and give it a go. I am looking forward to Shearwater's new album this year. I think you may like it judging from your recent listens. I'm listening to The Big Pink's album at the moment, getting ready to see them next weekend. Shamefully excited!

Didn't he marry a girl from Soton last summer?

I read an article in the Echo about Tessem around a month ago. He was saying he could still "cut it" in the Championship. Clearly, clearly.

In Rainbows is their best album. I was listening to this last night: http://teamteamwork.bandcamp.com/album/vinyl-fantasy-7 If you ever played Final Fantasy 7, you'll love it. It's music from the game remixed over hip-hop tracks. Top notch entertainment.

I know Leon. Top, top lad. I might go to this.

Murdoch should stick to being a musician, but it would be good if Saints had the pairing of Belle & Sebastian on the side lines.
