Pity I couldn't make this living away from Southampton. We had a parade last week in Warwick for the Queens royal Hussars arriving back from Afghanistan and Iraq, brilliant turnout and no trouble. Hope this one was the same.

FWIW I would have Pearson back and I enjoyed his 'sergeant major' approach, it reminded me of big Lawrie. I remember at S****horpe when he ordered the players over to the travelling fans which shows how much he respects us. Greece also offers a better rate than you can get in the UK, I recently went to Corfu (May)and the best UK rate I could get was 1.09, in Corfu we got 1.14 in some places commission free. We have found this to be the case with better rates on previous visits to Greece.
