Agreed the crowd will have a big effect but I'm not sure it will be enough for Andy to beat either Fed or Nadal. Semi finalist I reckon.
-
I'm sure Max Clifford will be making money from this as well.

Yep, his last post was in December although he was last online on the 23rd Jan so it looks like he may still be viewing without posting. Pity really as I miss his reports.

I think this post sums up the thread, yes it's sad she has cancer but thousands die from this terrible disease every year. How she ever got famous in the first place is beyond me but what she should be doing now is spending the last weeks of her life with her family and not parading herself all over the media.

Saints Greatest XI - Your Views and Opinions
saintwarwick replied to St Landrew's topic in The Saints
Agreed well done St Landrew, I've enjoyed picking my best players and it has been a great diversion to the normal A la carte that has been served on here recently. -
What table is that then and who is this CCC website you are on about? By the way that table which shows us bottom of the pack still shows us as number one at shots, the stats don't lie. I also agree John should be playing for us to to convert some of these chances (Saga is already playing) and stats mean nothing unless you put a decent percentage away which we don't.

The reserves?
-
Are you referring to my post? If so what is a mong?
-
So who are the mongs you speak of?
-
It's not just infantry who serve on the frontline, you also have marines, tankies, artillery, medics, logistics, REME, Signallers, engineers, RMP, air force, army air corps, intelligence and naval air squadron operating in Afghanistan and most of these will be highly educated people who can be nutters.
-
Do you or have you enjoyed your time on the Army front line?
-
Well it's been on the main news that the mod has confirmrd an accident did occur.
-
It was rush hour, bound to cause an accident.

Is that Wright's nightmare performance or Licka's non performance....
-
Wright for me

I don't think you quite grasp stats, it's about what teams have achieved, whether we score the goals or not is irrelevent the stats are there to see we have at least had chances at goal whereas in your previous posts suggest we don't. I have also posted the facts which you clearly missed in that we are top of the stats league which don't lie and you have missed certain players from your list to prove otherwise. I use you're original post of "very few games if any games this season can I recall us dominating a game and peppering the oponents goal" proves we do actually threaten the opposition's goal. Whether we score enough goals is irrelevent on this topic, we all know we need to turn stats into reality.

I think it's difficult for Wotte to understand why we lost similar to other managers/coaches of other clubs in a similar situation. I have to laugh at some of the comments from premiership managers/coaches following a loss. Of course a win helps positive comments.
-
I'd agree with that.

Sorry to p1ss on your fire but if you look CLOSELY at the stats you will find it can only give the top 20 player stats and NOT every player that has appeared in the team (check EVERY team in the stats and it's the same for all, top 20 only). Players who have between them over 50 starts or 20 sub appearances outside of the top 20 include: Dyer, Gasmi, Lancashire, McLaggon, Mills, Molyneux, Size, Smith, Svensson, Thomson, White and Pearce. So you see it has not shown every player that has started or played this season just the top twenty, the remaining 24 missing shots are amongst those not featured because two of those NOT featured in the top 20 have actually scored One last thing, I have been to quite a few games where we have had at least 12 shots at goal if not more (most recent Bristol City where we had 9 on target and 7 off target = 16 shots at goal) and to games where we have had less than twelve shots at goal.

I used destroyed to counter balance St Marco's post where he claimed Derby destroyed us and claimed we only had one shot at goal and that was the goal we scored. I remember Davis making a couple of good saves as well but I also remember Carroll making some good saves from McGoldrick (he also hit the bar), Holmes and Lallana to keep Derby in the game. We had 19 shots at goal of which 10 were on target. I think you'll find St Marco was the one exagerrating.

Here's one for you: http://www.bcfc.co.uk/page/MatchReport/0,,10327~44655,00.html

Agreed a captain cannot really lead the team from the goal line, you need a defender or midfielder imo.

Can we use season ticket renewals to oust Lowe?
saintwarwick replied to SaintBobby's topic in The Saints
The chap who sat next to me in Itchen Block 10 got a refund after a couple of games. The next time I saw him was at the Swansea game a couple of weeks ago. Don't know how much he got back but he said he got a cheque without a covering letter or compliment slip. -
http://www.football-league.co.uk/page/ClubShooting/0,,10794~20087,00.html Guess being top of the stats disproves your highlighted theory. As for that Derby game I don't know what game you were watching but we destroyed them, fact. We have had our fair share of luck this season but we have been equally unlucky in games.

Absolutely, if you aim for the posts you will hit them, best aim for the big gap between them.
