I suspect MP is not overly enthralled with his contribution so far... but its his responsibility to fit Osvaldo into our playing style and there is no evidence that this is going to happen any time soon. So, not sure where he sees him fitting in... lone striker - not convinced.. One of the 3 offensive playmakers.. not convinced. We will have to wait and see... but I think Ramirez or a similar type of player would increase his chances

What a lot of rubbish is spouted on here.. I doubt Boruc would have saved either of the goals... Gazzaniga was fine when he came on.. his positioning is an area of improvement but he won't be the reason we don't beat Villa.. we need to create as per the last home game where we were unplayable.

Its staggering the No of posters on here that think Lambert should be on the bench... I've yet to see us perform without him starting. Of course it will have to happen at some point but we do not have the skillset at the moment. As for Rodriguez playing upfront as a lone striker, is a complete joke.. he's not good enough. Not even sure Osvaldo is the answer unless he is struggling to come to terms with the pace of the EPL.

Do you actually watch games... Wiltshire, Ozil and Ramsay are NO quicker than lallana, Rodriguez and Wanyama with the ball.. dream on. We are debating PACE.. and whether this facet is something we do not have.. you rarely get Pace with speed of thought and if it exists we are talking Ronaldo/Bale level transfer fees.

Oh dear... Ramirez has undoubted ability... certainly more than most in the EPL.. there must be something we do not know that is preventing him displaying his undoubted talent.. and its a real shame as he could have made our goals for much higher.. and this is our key problem this season

Speed of thought is far more important than pure pace... JRod is quick but does not have a quick brain and I suspect will not be 1st choice .. Lambert is slow, but his brain is lightning quick. Arsenal are top of the league with little pace but quick football brains.. so your theory does not add up I'm afraid

Fairly even game.. final third is where Arsenal have the edge.. can't afford Boruc blunders at this level unfortunately.

What a joke.. there is no way Shaw is ready to overtake Cole as full-back.. wake up to reality. Johnson is rusty from a long term injury and is still our no 1 right back.. Clyne may overtaake Walker who is naive.. but Clyne's .weakness is in the air which is easily exposed.
