  1. Not been playing well lately. Hard to justify his inclusion with so many other options available too.
  2. Close from Jerome... close to going into orbit.
  3. Excellent! 2-0!!!
  4. What a frustrating performance. We really do look dull once the ball goes into the area. Unable to create many decent chances.. just the two I can remember. Schneiderlins header and Lambert. Not sure what needs to be done really to improve it.
  5. 0-0 written all over it? :-)
  6. Fairly even game. We've had some huge let offs so far.
  7. Lucky escape there.
  8. Sterling goes in for the tackle.
  9. I think the issue is that people want him to do well. They expect him to do well given his apparent qualities. But he doesn't seem to get into the team enough or get put on when it seems sensible. And when he does play, he often end up giving the ball away and looking off pace. To be honest, I think he's being mismanaged along with the rest of the side. That's not to say Pochettino can't sort it out in time ... but we're trying to throw in all our attacking players at once instead of building a sensible looking attack.
  10. On another day we'd have been 2-0 winners. Dominated possession and had the most chances. The keeper was just particularly good today. We did look disjointed coming forward and Ward Prowse made a massive difference with his set piece deliveries. He currently rates better than Ramirez so must be worth at least £15m
  11. I think today we've got the formation wrong.
  12. We do seem worse than last year. But I suppose it takes time to gel etc.
  13. Punch starts for Palace.

  15. Poor chaps, on the wiki page it has a section for Draws and Victory (singular!) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/San_Marino_national_football_team One guy has actually scored 8 goals for them.
  16. Lambert has done well but I don't expect him to be called up again if Rooney, Sturridge and Welbeck are fit. If he does get called up again it'll be a bonus, but he can be proud of what he has achieved and certainly didn't look at all out of place. Last night a draw was good but it could have been so much better if we could pass a ball properly.
  17. Lamberts made a tidy start. Sent from my HTC One S using Tapatalk 4
  18. So true :-) Sent from my TouchPad using Tapatalk 4
  19. Well its still highly likely I'd say even though he's off. He's been instrumental.
  20. Usually players are worse for England than their club side. Lambert may be the opposite :-) Sent from my TouchPad using Tapatalk 4
  21. Fair play Welbeck. Good finish for the second goal. But he does do some really awful things for a professional footballer. Sent from my TouchPad using Tapatalk 4
  22. He was always going to score eventually. Just a shame its taken several chances.
  23. Hahah Welbeck gets a yellow card. Not for playing on, but because it was such a terrible effort on goal. Deserved it.
  24. Welbeck having a mare. Utterly useless! Sent from my TouchPad using Tapatalk 4
  25. Every time I've seen Zaha he's been crap. Dancing about all over the pitch taking one touch too many and trying to beat everyone. Only 20 of course, but extremely frustrating player. Hopefully he'll come good for England's sake. As a team I thought there was spells where England had too many individuals and not working as a team. Players shooting, taking the chances themselves when better options were available. Ward-Prowse was tidy but bypassed a lot by some of the egos unfortunately as he's a team player. Shaw was class enough to shine through of course.
