The fact that the BBC had to have a "Who is Jack Butland?" feature on their website says it all. It is right up there with the bizzare decision to take Walcott all those years ago. I've spoken to a few Brentford supporting friends and they are really pleased with Harlee Dean. I saw him play in only one game and he had a good physical presence about him but wasn't outstanding. I can't see him playing in the Premiership - so letting him go is sensible so he can get on with his career elsewhere I reckon.
