  1. 'CHARLIE DONT SURF!'
  2. Does that mean you remain to be convinced then Ponty?
  3. You just know it will happen on the friday night of the week we play the skates at home needing a win to seal our promotion back to the prem and their relegation back to L1:smt089
  4. Did we? The pain of the 3-4 must have wiped that from my memory!
  5. Looking forward to playing the dirty northern b**tards, we owe them big time after their last visit to SMS:smt021

    Pardew OUT

..of bottom spot and making his way up the league with his team, that he has built in a short space of time. Hope Alps and all the other knee jerk reactionists are enjoying today!:drinkers:
  8. Wonder if the Vicky Pollard lookalike with the Judas poster will be there?
  9. Surely Kelvin would be an obvious choice?
  10. They sometimes show Irish league matches, so that blows your arguement clean out of the water:D
  11. I thought Whitworth sizes were measured across the points? And is this the most 'gone off topic in as few posts as possible' thread of all time?
  12. I don't usually do whooshes, but....
  13. Not tongue in cheek at all. My point being that this is the way every captain we've had has chosen to start the game when winning the toss since we've been at SMS, so clearly there is a tactical reason for it. So why do we need countless threads calling for change?
  14. Added time multi-ball?
  15. Surely with the winter nights now closing in it would make sense for Saints to attack the Chapel in the second half, as the sun sets later in the game it is more likely to hinder a team attacking the Chapel in the first half. Also surely it is better for a team to be attacking a stand that is full of home fans, rather than split half and half, in a period of play when they may well be chasing the game?
  16. Fair enough, think I probably took the wrong meaning from your post. From the other post it sounds like the hoolie wannabees have spoiled a decent day out for everyone else:rolleyes:
  17. AF?
  18. They haven't, we went there on a saturday a couple of season ago when we were in the championship.
  19. Bloody hell, theres a blast from the past. Remember Tomasz Hajto and his booming 50 yard passes out to KK. Whatever happened to him?
  20. Well seeing as most of them don't know how to put oil in a car I wouldn't want them playing around with a nuke...
  21. I lived in Liverpool while I was growing up and would regularly go and watch everton and Liverpool with my mates. I particularly remember the 8-0 as I was in the Gladwys street end being ripped to shreds by about 50 scousers. Great day out.
  22. We could name the bogs after Rupes...
  23. Damn, I was hoping no one would think of that:D
  24. How are you getting to France then?
  25. Don't know if this has been discussed already, but SAints must be the only team in the land that stops its home supporters accessing parts of the ground after the game so the away fans can be let out? Surely a 'lock in' of away fans, as happens everywhere else, would stop a fair bit of the trouble that keeps happening on the bridge and by the Alfred?
