Do the Sky team have the benefit of replays? Genuine question.
-
He is fecking quick and therein lies the problem, once he has a couple of games under his belt he will time himself better and spring defences left right and centre, unfortunately judging by the quality of officiating I've seen so far this season about 90% of his runs will be given offside incorrectly.
-
Penalties aside I thought the officials were dire today. The lino who gave the pen managed to get just about everything else wrong as well, and the ref went from allowing full blown GBH to go unchecked to booking players for looking at each other a bit funny in the blink of an eye. Is a bit of consistency too much to ask?
-
No Saints players appelaed for the second one. Draw your own conclusions. FWIW I was in mid abuse hurling at the lino for giving such a **** offside decision (as was half the stand) then he put the flag across his chest and shut me up a treat.

Personally from the little we have seen of him Papa could work well with LAmbert, he clearly needs someone to run off and he started to show signs off this today. Plus we now have decent competetion for places up front. Yes we scored from 2 pens today, but forgive me if I'm wrong, I thought you had to be in the box to get a pen? At the end od the season a goal is a goal is a goal, I'll take any of them.

Good call! A ****ing Cardiff let me down on my accumulator, useless sheep ****ging ****s.

17564 yesterday. Best fans in the league f'sure. Loved watching them all walk out when Boltons winner went in. I never bother with Skate forums but I've just had a cheeky peek at the one St Lard has quoted from. I'm sat in tears of laughter.

Not all of them, Jo Tessem and Idiakez shop at Morrisons in Totton. So there.:smt118

Thought they were doing a free box for existing customers? I got it 4-5 months ago and only had to pay for installation. Just phone up and ask for the cancellation department, they'll soon change their tune.

Hot air balloon. Spare gas. Lighter.

Ive got an old Sony stereo amp that got damaged when we moved house recently. I don't want to replace it if I can help it so does anyone knoe of anywhere reliable and reasonable who does repairs? I tried one place that Sony recommended in Bevois Valley but they wanted £30 just to look at it!

Quite how any of the 'officials' missed that I'll never know, Saga was virtually playing basketball! Not complaining though, he made enough ****e decisions against us.

Best £8 I've spent in a long time. Just hoping Murty isn't too badly hurt. Couldn't see a great deal from the Chapel but I noticed that the doctor came on pretty quickly and they stretchered him straight out one of the exits, instead of down the tunnel. Didn't look good.

I know we have a few Poole speedway fans on this board who may not be aware of this yet. Copied from the Poole OS: Speedway fans attending either Poole's home Elite League match against Peterborough or Bournemouth's National Development League fixture against Mildenhall will have the opportunity to send their messages of support to Poole teenager Brendan Johnson who has been on a life support machine in Southampton General Hospital after sustaining head injuries in a crash whilst riding for his present club Isle of Wight. A large card will be available for supporters to sign, or leave their own cards if they prefer. Poole fan Bob Cole will be co-ordinating the activity and will be situated near Alan Whale's 3rd Bend photo-stall on Wednesday or at the main East Stand entrance on Thursday. Overnight news has been encouraging on Brendan's condition with the hope that the Doctors may be able to slowly bring him out of the sedation that they have induced since his admittance. Well-wishers across the speedway fraternity are requested not to send any cards or gifts to the hospital, or contact the hospital for updates, and any unable to get to Wimborne Road can mail them to Brendan Johnson c/o Wave 105 Smallbrook Stadium, Ashey Road, Ryde, Isle of Wight PO33 4BH and the Isle of Wight club will ensure that all messages of support are passed on to Brendan's family. BEst wishes to the lad for a speedy and full recovery.

Why did the ball boys have the balls taken from them?
Huffton replied to lordswoodsaints's topic in The Saints
Get used to it. They ref League 1 for a reason... -
You complete w@nker. Have you any idea how much time and money goes into running a youth football team? And how many people give up their time for no recompense to help run the various clubs? Clearly not.

As hard as it may be. This team is at least a month behind where it should be, due to how late the takeover happened and then APs appointment. He has had no real pre-season to get the squad how he wants it. There are an awful lot of games left and a lot of points to be gained. Yes things look pretty bad at the moment, but lets hold off the big red panic buttons until xmas. The new owners have already said they have a five year plan in place. Thats 260 weeks, not 2. My personal view is that this season is all about survival, knocking out the -10 points and staying in the league, and stabilising the club. For me a mid table finish would be a real result. The owners are already showing they are backing the manager, and for once we have a boss with a proven track record, and hopefully now a board that will listen too him, but he needs time. Keep the faith people, it won't happen overnight, but it will happen. And to hose muppets who are already calling for APs head, **** off to stamford bridge or some other plastic football wonderland:mad:

Not all of them are no right turns. HTH.
-
Anyone know if they still let kids in on matchdays now its reopened? Ta.
-
We did, but in the grand scheme of things its just one loss. We are pretty much at the bottom of our downward spiral, Pompey are at the top of a very long and slippery slope. And yes, I will enjoy every minute of their slide, just as their fans did ours.

Wotton has got the official hardest shot in the whole league apparently. He should have taken them last season instead of that numpty Mcgoaldrought, not so sure about this year though, probably should be Lambert.
