Will the skates still get parachute payments when relegated from the Prem if/after they have been in admin? Doesn’t seem right that they can go into admin, write off millions then be rewarded financially and start all over again!?

12 wins in the league all season (from 30) and you're “very much enjoying” It’s sad but you clearly have very very very low expectations and ambitions. If it saves you from disappointment then so be it, I know id much prefer to set my sights much higher and give everything 110% Apparently that makes me a wum, troll ect but I can live with that! You wont get anywhere in life if you’re always content with 2nd best.

I think the disappointment of the last few years has significantly altered some of our fans ambitions, aspirations and ideas of success and failure. 12 wins in 30 league games (in L1) when you have spent more than the whole league combined (signing the leagues two top scorers on the way) is NEVER going to be seen as a success by anyone but our damaged fans (thankfully now a small percentage) It highlights the importance of NC imo – the guy is new(ish) to SFC and will not be haunted or damaged by past events, and will judge results and performances based on the here and now. We were given a fresh (bright) start in the summer, but too many of our fans are obsessed with the past failings – it’s sad and I almost feel sorry for them. To have such low, low, low expectations…….it must really suck! They talk about post war syndrome – maybe some of our fans are suffering from post Lowe syndrome? Is there a cure? Someone :smt100 our damaged fans!!

Since this is the realistic thread and your summary is realistic I agree. AP doing an "acceptable" job is probably still kind considering the money spent and players in our squad, but for now I will agree. Thin line between acceptable and poor and AP is dangerously close to the poor side imho

do we really need another AP excuse thread? absolutely no chance of playoffs - becuase AP has some very good players playing very average.

On current form we will finsih about 8th or 9th next season. AP and the happy's will insist we need just one more player, then one more, then one more....... Get ready for the - oh we would have been fine if didnt get injured. Time to wake up and smell the coffee!!

Midtable with Pardew or top 2 with anyone else id say. This team is massively under performing I would have better stats than 12 wins in 30 with this squad.
