Seen red cards for those. Well after the ball had gone he shouldn't be tackling at all rather than putting his studs into his shin.
-
I want to frame that picture!
-
He got plenty of stick for his performance on Match of the Day.

No way are Newcastle going down. ASM and Trippier are just too good. Everton though?
-
Another case of LiVARpool! Surely a penalty.
-
VAR worked as it should because that is the law now. If an attacking player’s accidental handball immediately precedes another player scoring, the goal will now be awarded, when last season it was likely to have been ruled out.

After having problems with posted tickets I have gone for the print at home option. Do you need to print them or can you use your phone instead?

If Forster had come for the ball and then been impeded by one of the offside players they would then be interfering with play and the goal would be disallowed. I think it is reasonable tactic for a goalkeeper who comes off his line. With no attackers to impede him and the ball delivered over 30 metres he should be able to punch or catch every time. Most teams haven't coped with our high line but I think City may have given them the blueprint.

Table doesn't lie as they say. I thought Schmeichel was slow off his line for Tottenham's 3rd goal. He was probably still kicking the goal post after conceding the equaliser.

The high line actually is quite effective, there have been loads of offsides. Looks terrifying but works.

Well said. This forum just loves to have a scapegoat and we have moved on from Long and Walcott and now Bednarek is in the firing line. Could we improve on him, sure but I have not seen a credible option suggestion on here. The combination of being comfortable(ish) on the ball, aerial ability, no slouch and agility is quite tricky to find at a reasonable cost. Caletta-Car is probably the best but I am not sure his wife wants to come to England.

cUnacceptable inconsistency and appalling standard of referees
Yozzman replied to cambsaint's topic in The Saints
I agree that he let the game flow but it would be a different story if Toney had scored an equaliser. A degree of consistency across refs would be nice. -
Absolutely, he was drawn towards Toney which was the obvious thing to do but some think Bednarek is at fault for every goal.
-
I am not sure it's that clear he is a very decent footballer. In the England U21 game he looked tidy but I don't remember him shining in any of the B team games that I saw. Nobody else seems to want to give him a opportunity.
-
Actually it ends after after the 19th game which for Burnley will be towards the end of January.
-
What did Bowen do?
-
I just don't get the Forster love in. What does it take to actually try and catch the ball. Even his good save should have been pushed around the post.
-
So why was he picked against Leeds, Villa etc when he wasn't vaccinated and being ostracized?
-
Antonio not playing tonight. So maybe he does have C19?
-
4pm I believe.
-
Are you joking?
-
I agree with a lot you say but that is Salisu's fault all day. The ball to Romeu was shite.
-
Stu Armstrong in the latest training pics so can't be far away from being able to play soon.
-
Obafemi to score against us (if he is picked)?
