As this is my thread .... I'm F**KED off with today's result, and the coward in Block 32 or 33 in the low down seats who complained to a steward about my mate's passion rather than talking to him, the supporter in him manifested itself through shouting and F***ing bad language. Just so you know, he has been a season ticket holder since 84, and sat in the same seat since St Mary's opened. For what its worth, F**K off to another part of the ground if you are not brave enough to ask us to be quite !!!!! -

I quote from my original post "The team were in a similar position in the league with no imagination or ” in my opinion” desire to do anything other than collect their wages. This year I have no desire not to attend because of our team, just the directors who have put a manager and team of boys in to do a mans job, unlike last year “ in my opinion” they do have a desire to play for their wages" I am no Illingworth puppet or Lowe Luvvie, it was no lecture, just what I wont put up with. If you don’t want to be thought of as a C**K then at least pass comment on what people say, not how you perceive it was said. -

This was my point, i'm not cross with the team or the manager. Its the PI** Poor Directorship of the business over the last XXX years. -

Go F**K yourself read this line in my post "This year I have no desire not to attend because of our team, just the directors" I'll spell it out for you shall I, if i dont go it will be because of the Directors not the team .... I am a season ticket holder, so the club will not lose out if i dont go, just me. T**T -

Your missing my point, i don't have the feeling to do that this year -
Last year I was willing to vote with my feet, while still being a season ticket holder I had no desire to watch an apathetic team managed by an inept alleged drunk. The team were in a similar position in the league with no imagination or ” in my opinion” desire to do anything other than collect their wages. This year I have no desire not to attend because of our team, just the directors who have put a manager and team of boys in to do a mans job, unlike last year “ in my opinion” they do have a desire to play for their wages. JP has no budget, he only has the players currently registered to pick from .. at least most of them want to play even if they are out of their depth, this shows great character. I expect that many post after this will say “ how can you say that XXX can play, XXX looks lightweight etc put it into context – We only have the players on our books to pick from We have a squad of Junior professional We still have players injured We have NO money to buy or pay loan wages as income continues to fall We sold most of our seasoned professional, who incidentally didn’t manage to get us back up We have no choice but to put up with the best of a bad job, unless someone buys the club or we go under ……….. we WILL give a team a real spanking this season, for my money that will be today. Saints 5-1 winners -
Not a bad thing if he was

The LSE maybe rising, however SLH is losing money, has a reducing income (attendance is down) and has been part of a hostile board change. Not where I would put my £28k unless I knew something ... As you say "Hardly a takeover" but not as I said a speculative punt either ... the next week could be entertaining
-
no, nothing like 150k in the last 36 hrs, only 100k
-
100,000 shares in 2 days, that's not a speculative punt.
-
Yes, it's not that it was ND it was the fact he took £20 of petrol instead of someone who needed it. The fact he is a thieving toe-rag that brought shame on the club, his family & refused to assist the police, nothing to do with it !!

Good post, an FD would normally be very influential on the direction of a company. They not only preparing the accounts but show due diligence to the auditors that the company is not insolvent and able to meet its obligations (VAT, PAYE etc). He would advise the fellow directors of the exact financial position of the business and if they are trading within budgets set. Dave Jones will have been fully aware if we had the funds to buy players, at what point we would be up to any credit lines given. Dave Jones would therefore be very aware of what state SFC plc was heading and could, allegedly, be part of the state by not standing up and being counted.
