  1. After all Wilde and his financial coccck upps..not all is lost. In recent times he has been under the financial guidance of Rupert and our own jonah of computer mechanical repairs fame(only joking Rupert:smt049) The course that Wilde is following is for another year and although progress is very slow he is expected to be as good as the two top tutors when he is allowed to deal with the small change remaining at the club....I find teaching fees to be very excessice.
  2. Leave my parrott out of this, teach..he has always had two of each or was it one of my other words?:smt017
  3. Sorry nick..Financial matters like planning and football are really not your thing..Best to leave well alone..I have been trying to tell jonah the same for years...not a clue.:smt017 Just the opinion of a very clever financial whizz jidz:cool:
  4. The Police are just the same..With their exs that is..allegedly.
  5. My pet mole is on the case but usually makes a mountain out of the proverbial, so no nearer the truth there. My pet beaver was going to be put on the case but I have now decided to keep my pet beaver to myself...The truth will always out... The truth will always out, said my parrott.
  6. Yes same foot and never fully recovered. Has had injuries for several seasons. His ability in the lower and conference league level is the reason for not getting games at the numerous clubs who have been asked to look after him. Not even considered a journeyman pro in the old scheme of things. Better players in the reserves have been moved on with a lot more ability by the Saints.:smt017
  7. This is the result of a very poor Saints side. A player has a small purple patch and us fans grasp the chink of light that may give us hope. He does sound from you regular fans that his effort was there. But our position and continued poor results suggest that on the odd occasion he has been the best of a poor bunch. Comparison would be Holmes..I only saw him twice and a couple of odd tv coverage. Some rate him prior to injury as a top player. For me too little in a poor side and the odd flash that suggest in a better CCC side would be reasonable squad player. No pace and easily frightened out by strong full back left me with my doubts..One brother rates as reasonable two other brothers rate as not better than the rest of the rubbish..They still go to many games and are as fickle as the rest of us....Hope Simon recovers and joins us for next season...Both him and Holmes would be stars in Div 1. Is there a miracle out there somewhere? :smt017
  8. I still think Rupert and Kim....Time will tell us JP did not have such choices and that Wotte was closer to the think tank throughout the season. JP has to be careful with his words because of monies owed. Wilde could not do any harm in view of what has gone before from the Chairman. One size is possibly your example of one in twenty, even though money was tight keep em coming...Not anymore ..Academy sign on similar amount over a couple of years and if you are lucky..bingo. I feel sorry for youngsters being moved on but Pulis proves that favours are still part of football along with other secret organisations..show us your knee old boy.
  9. As with Ali Dia the Coach and the fans knew after about 30 seconds that maybe Rupert will get into the team before Pulis. Torquay would not take Pulis back for free as you will find with Grimsby. If Henderson had stayed in charge of The Reserves he would eventually have been dropped from that squad regardless of injury. He is not a pro footballer as decided at all eight football teams he arrived at. He cost us in the region of £300,000 in the deal with Davies however the books show it. Rupert and Kim whatever next. Even the Dutch realised after a couple of training sessions but obviously they were told to get on with it by the boss. Miracles do happen but with our goalkeeper he was a footballer regardless of your comparison......I advise the lottery for you phil. Bring on the young uns one day. Anthony is now 25 going on 26 approx. Braishfield would like him on loan for a month before deciding on taking a free transfer...Nothing personal with Mr Pulis. I feel the same about other non footballers re Liptak, Smith AND Gasmi and that is only what the father of a coach tells me from watching them after a couple of games.:smt017
  10. Sorry that is overtaking...mixed up again.
  11. We are being taken over but Charlton need to win a few more games first to achieve this move up the table.
  12. Let us hope the accounts stand up to scrutiny and not as per the jonah school of financial wizadry or what you concoct in your little shed.:---) Rupes says keep up the good work with your little wagazoo formation flying team.:smt049 AND you leave my crayons out of this.
  13. Windows you have guessed Ruperts wages before and always come up with very Lowe figures that appear to me to suit your hidden agenda in all things sweet for Rupes.:smt017 The truth is that his wage is in the £200,000...+ per year and my guess is better than yours by a long way.....What a little bird told me. The actual figure would give the game away....I am sure jonah will put us right....Although he is a computer mechanic and no knowledge of serious financial matters..someone tries to put him on the right lines in Ruperts favour....Your not talking to each other by chance.:smt049 All in my opinion and that of the little owl that sits on my garden fence.
  14. Damnations...Just when we needed him:rolleyes:
  15. Rupes is a love...For some:smt049 Sent you some crayons as well..Hope you got them.. jonah, Man the lifeboats time..soooo:)n
  16. Whatever Sir Clive may have brought to the table in the following 2-3 years his whole package was about £350,000 and apparently the only thing he produced was a blooody bicycle for the lads to travel to games on.
  17. HCDAJFU..Brett that is....The other old Channel Islander is probably better Golfer nowadays.
  18. As a person with such good knowlege and able to follow a good plan...I haven't read your post in response to my airfix post as you are temporarily on ignore until you come to your senses and listen to me and victor about football and planning.
  19. This is terrible...Have you no consideration for the poor lady...Mudguards for the two front wheels to stop bits damaging her poor legs...
  20. The younger up and coming Manager..Brazi;ian style could have been Clifford ala Garforth....Maybe Not.:---)
  21. Len Duquemin Spurs centre forward 46-58..Played with ex Saint Alf Ramsey. Passed away 20.4.03. God Bless him. Born Cobo Guernsey. Goals 134 in 308 games...Could do a job for Saints now...Spiritual capacity. Le Saux Jersey....I am sure there is another great player but can't think of him for the life of me...Big friend of Venables and Hoddle.
  22. Mind you to be fair to nick, he might not be an architect but he sure put some wonderful air fix kits together when he was a nipper.:smt049
  23. Gaffer , Boss or Guv Phil. I think hamster was sort of thinking of giving a few free kicks away in the tunnel before kick off..easier to catch the young uns and a form of early retaliation of sorts.
  24. I have got a spare pair of crayons from McDonalds..There on the way to you as we speak. Rupert, No Longer Director of Football, gave me back the crayons I loaned to him for his team talks prior to games.
  25. nicky baby..You are worth one more effort. Don't take everything to heart.:smt017..Just look at what Rupert has done to you.:smt049 Mary would not want to be chairman..You know that from previous posts, it was a joke Read again , ottery second in charge..Well we would win some games at least. As for Wildey he is Rupes boy so that is your problem matey. In future you ignore me and I will ignore you:cool: Your acting like a baby and to be honest I can't cope with YOUR AMATEUR DRAMATICS. THEREFORE YOUR ALSO OFF MY XMAS LIST. IGNORE BUTTON MATE..MOST OF THE LUVVIES WHO CAN'T COPE HAVE.:smt049
