I was a year younger than Channon who was Wiltshire boyz.. We were told by a coach to go along to the Dell and watch Hants v Wilts boys and particularly watch the boy Channon.. You could tell even at the age of 15 that he could run / glide and play football...even though Hants won 4-1 (from memory..) The boy Channon oooooozed class... Saw him a year later for Saints A in Hants league and boy was he good...... I did not notice any windmill action at this stage.....but you could tell he was going to be very good..

His debut..Twas there and we won 4-2.....Great day...If memory serves the old left/right and the nut...may have fading memory.. Think Alan was 17 years of age and did not even play regularly after that for some time..

Gaston better learn to tackle, know when to jockey and not dive in....covers a lot of ground etc and very good on the ball and very good with free kick set pieces etc. But he will have to learn very quickly he must stay on his feet OR along with Morgan and Adam we will be left with no one to make the tackles in midfield....... Before you Netball and Hockey players say anything.. Morgan has to sort himself out after two poor games and being our non tackling centre midfield lynch pin..He can do a lot better........some said it is coz those around him are not good enough......Do me a favour... Let us all hope that Mr Ramirez settles in quickly and helps take the mighty Saints forward.

Good luck...But please be honest with your viewing and your observations...

Guly...OK first half...Worked hard like all others. He really came on strong for last quarter. 7/10 Some of you netball players have no clue.... Fox played better than given credit for..Under rated.. Punch worked hard with Clyne on the right side...Fox had no real support. Morgan ...Not so good today..Poor tackler and out of position....Will he step up a little more as he did later in game...Arsene not interested at the moment... Yes he has the talent...but what ever you hockey players think...He has to do a whole lot better. JWP ...what a lad J Rod played to plan and will also get a lot better... Rikeeee once again brings so many different things and was in his position allowing Guly to move into the inside left position and our game improved...(Ramirez will take that position in my view) Well done Saints...
