Are Leicester still expected to get hit with this points deduction, all very quiet when it was reportedly nailed on before the season starts due to the PL just waiting for them to return to penalise them?

With O’Riley, it’s just a case of understanding what Celtic will accept and if he wants to come, can we match that? The idea of bidding £25m a week or two ago would not have guaranteed anything. This moving fast concern isn’t valid if we are keeping close to all parties. It will come down to where he wants to go and if we can match the highest fee. All takes time, as we are seeing. It could be that this is one we have moved on from due to the price being too high, as Martin alluded to in his post match interview last night.

Looks like a back three. Agree that tackle was outrageous, lucky to not be injured.
-
I wonder why we are wearing white shorts, but agree they look much better.

Carvalho is a long term target. Tried to sign him when he left Fulham for Liverpool. Tried to sign him when he went on loan last season. I think he would be a decent signing, certainly one of the best players in the championship in the second half of last season. The reason so choosing Hull over us was guaranteed game time. Think we could have offered him plenty as it turned out. My concern is if he wants to be here. Having been rejected at least twice so far for alternatives. Ornstein giving the impression that he might be our O’Riley alternative.

Dibling is a player, very impressive off the bench today. His ability to beat a man without looking like he’s out of second gear is quite impressive. Sam Amo-Ameyaw is currently our best winger too. Dribbles like Edozie but looks like he’s got more of an idea about what to do with it after he beats his man. BBD looks sharp, did all the simple things well. Looking forward to seeing more minutes from him over the remaining friendlies.

We all wanted Russ to find a keeper, but I’m not sure Lucy Pinder is going to save our season.

Borussia Dortmund are looking for €15-20m for Youssoufa Moukoko this summer. Southampton, Girona, Betis , Sevilla, Real Sociedad, FC Villarreal, and Stade Rennes are interested #saintsfc @SkySportDE Youssoufa Moukoko’s agent Patrick Williams has announced his client is planning on leaving Dortmund this summer, “Now we are sounding out interest from England, Spain and France”. #saintsfc [FabrizioRomano]

Signed off the back of being top goalscorer in the Toulon tournament. Think he scored 5 goals and looked to be an exciting young talent. Think football Manager had him down as a potential wonder kid, MLG can confirm. Not worked out at all though, has it. He’s not going to make it at Saints and we are going to end up taking a loss.

Sign a PL quality keeper, please.

I like Edozie, fantastic dribbler, but the end product is often not there. Is he improving in that regard? I’m not too sure.

1-0 Oxford, deflected into their path to score against our 10 men.
-
Not ideal that 2 of our potential sales have walked off injured
-
Pretty sure it was Russ that converted him.
-
Just isn’t going to happen for him at Saints.
-
He does spend the majority of his time in CM when playing FB tbf 😂
-
Came through academy footy as a CM player, I believe.

It’s crazy that Sam Amo-Ameyaw is better than Sulemana.
-
If only it was that simple.

⚫️🟡 #BVB -Talent Youssoufa Moukoko (19/ 🇩🇪 ) should and wants to leave. The statements from agent Patrick Williams were clear. It is still unclear whether it will be a loan or a permanent sale. This will be discussed in the next few days and weeks - depending on the club and the situation. According to Sky Infos, Girona, Betis Sevilla and Real Sociedad as well as Southampton and Rennes are among those interested in the talented striker. Other clubs could get involved... The young attacker wants to play in the new season - and preferably outside of the Bundesliga. A move to FC St. Pauli is out of the question. @SkySportDE @berger_pj

£8m (plus £2m add ons - assume linked to promotion), plus wages 😥
