Scienza could have slipped Azaz through but decided to take another touch. Frustrating. Fellows has started well. Larin just scores goals. Love him.

Genuine injury 8 mins into the first pre season game. The question is whether or not he has recovered or is now not being risked for sale. Open training session he was doing a limited programme so could still be genuine. We can’t afford to lose Jander and Charles in the same window, I hope that Charles and THB sales mean we put our foot down in this one. Jander’s agent was making noises about leaving last January, he didn’t get a move and his form onwards was very good. Same again please, the Schneiderlin approach needs to be taken with Jander.

THB replacement?

Sounds like THB is Villa’s main target according to the Saints fan Jacob Tanswell, who seems to only ever pop up with bad news about Saints. The definition of shitting where you sleep this guy.

Same price they offered for THB…

Bring.

Apologies @hypochondriac, my 🤦‍♂️ was for me not just reading the article and assuming it was us. Question is now whether Burnley will beat us to this and if we would be interested in signing even if THB stays. At £4m I would want us to be doing what we can to bring him in regardless.

🤦‍♂️

This us?

Wouldn’t surprise me that Benfica aren’t wiling to pay the amount required for us to sell THB. Also wouldn’t surprise me if someone in the PL pops up in the next 2 weeks. Let’s hope his horror miss on Saturday isn’t his last action in a Saints shirt.

Sky commentators were saying yesterday that this was a decision by their manager. He said he wanted to leave and their manager took the call to make him train on his own and focus on the players that want to be there. Not really any different to us ring fencing players for sale tbf.

Decent player and seen as one of the best in his position by many of the championship ‘experts’. If we really are interested, hopefully we don’t Louz out on him to the Middle East money.

Translation: 🚨 Benfica, VERY close to reaching an agreement with Southampton for Taylor Harwood-Bellis. 🤝 ACTIVE negotiations for 20M€. ✅ Player has given the green light to the transfer.

Azaz had a slow start, let’s give him time.
