Yep, straight into the team please.

The question I’m thinking of is who’s the better player: Keven Schlotterbeck or Anel Ahmedhodzic? What I do know is they are both a bit of a challenge for auto correct 😂

Jander and Scienza were great buys though. I think Keven will be a strong addition.

This guy looks like he wins his duels, is good in the air, is captain material and is very experienced having over 150 top flight games in the Bundesliga. It’s also a plus having a left footed CB playing on the left, although judging by his strike above his weak foot seems useful too. Price including add ons is less than £4m and Spors does seem to unearth gems from this market. What’s not to like?

Scouting report suggest he’s a little slow for counter attacks and that having some speed in CM is needed. If we can keep Jander and THB then that defensive spine is looking good. Not sure if we will though. Peretz THB Kev Flynn Jander

Wasn’t a good signing in the end but Roerslev also came in during those last days. My worry is we are less attractive this summer than last, so can we sign players of the quality we did last time?

I bet Bree is still on the lowest wages of the three. Makes sense to loan Roerslev and see if he can get back fit for either a sale or to get match fit and have a use in the future for us. Still hilariously bad that we brought in the two Danish RBs and ended up having to recall Bree.

Bit of a disaster signing that seemed on the face of it he would come in as a starter with promotion experience. Injuries have plagued his first season with us and it seems Tonda isn’t ruling out moving him on. You’d imagine that would be a loan if he does go to prove his fitness. Explains the odd links to RBs when we have 3 currently on the books.

Would be a reasonable guess that he will be signing for Derby in the coming days.

Dobbin hasn’t got going at all but talk of loaning him out after a few games is wild. He had one of the highest goal contributions in the league last season, far too early to make a definitive call on him. In his defence it’s a new team, new system, players all around him are not performing and many are playing out of position. I want to see how he looks when the team is settled and up and running.

I think Tonda was intentionally trying to play a game at a slow pace to manage the three game week with limited resources, first half it was working ok but we missed the chance to take a strong lead against a weak WHU team. We are playing without a central midfield and with a very error prone CB at the moment. Players playing out of position, we started with academy pairing in the middle ourselves, players having to come back in from the cold. It’s all very unbalanced and slow. THB situation not helping, speed of replacing Charles not helping. Captain’s worst form since PL not helping. No surprised WHU looked too strong following the changes but we had already gifted them the game by then. Not good enough but at least we had this collapse in a cup game. I'm sure we will be stronger at the weekend with Downes, Larin and Azaz starting but there is plenty of work to do in the last days of this window to fix some big holes in the team.

Welington and Manning is really strong depth at LB. I know he’s been a bit injury prone but do like Welington.

Akachukwu has started the game well, I like how he turns and tries to drive forward. Composed on the ball too.
