  1. http://sportwitness.co.uk/outcome-is-close-chief-says-southampton-battling-with-another-side-for-transfer-player-must-decide/
  2. I'm sure he's loved his time with the loan clubs, but you'd imagine his ultimate goal would be to succeed with us.
  3. Nothing particularly new here; https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/pierre-emile-hojbjerg-tottenham-jose-mourinho-kyle-walker-peters-a4497561.html Still favours a move to Spurs, apparently.
  4. Irish lads will probably all start?
  5. Onwards we go. Players must be knackered. Hopefully Brighton under Potter play a style that suits us slightly more than under Hughton.
  6. & we are still lumbered with those high earners we can’t shift.
  7. Fair points. The beauty of this situation is -- Ralph -- tactically, knows exactly what he needs from players. So I'm happy to trust him on this one.
  8. Michal Karbownik linked. Young left back. https://www.spurs-web.com/spurs-news/report-southampton-enter-race-for-defender-linked-with-spurs-and-celtic/
  9. Sounds like our work permit advisor is Les Reed.
  10. Lemina’s with Hoedt in the “I want to leave permanently” club — who will both leave on loan again. On a side-note — Do we know for sure Ralph sees Jankewitz as a centre-mid?
  11. Very true. I suppose it depends if he tactically fits what Ralph wants. It could always be situation where we just offload him to bring the cash in.
  12. Linked with Utd a while back for £50m.
  13. Would you replace Hojbjerg, MLG?
  14. Saints mentioned as having a passing interest in 18 year old Wigan striker Joe Gelhardt: Source: https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/12098320/wigan-administration-sale-buyers-wage-bill/?utm_medium=Social&utm_campaign=sunfootballtwitter&utm_source=Twitter#Echobox=1594503735
  15. Yeah, especially as Tella is out too. Ferry would be next in line. Seems to be lots of impact for the youth sides.

  17. Don’t disagree mate. I just like seeing ex-saints doing well (with a few exceptions) - spent most of his time around the championship means he’s done well for himself. Pleased to see him get to the Prem at the age of 32 (which is mental when I remember him signing for us around 16).
  18. I was hoping you were posting good news, Dusic.
  19. Linked with Chelsea. Has done really well.
  20. I don’t think anywhere else has reported the rumour. So depends how reliable Duncan Castles is.
  21. I like Hojbjerg. If I had the choice, I’d want him to stay - but if he does leave - I’m curious to see how he does. I don’t think he’s as good as Morgan was when he left us, and he didn’t impress at Utd or Everton.
  22. If Ralph doesn’t want to take a look, there will be no shortage of takers for him.
