  2. I was under the impression we had somebody lined up judging from Semmens’ comments at the recent forum at St Mary’s.
  3. @TomBarclay: As for Hasenhuttl's contract himself, no talks as yet (deal up end of next season). But club are relaxed about it and are confident when Ralph feels the club are safe he will discuss fresh terms I hate the relaxed term. Reminds me of Sir Les.
  4. Their next games: Brighton (H) Villa (A) Norwich (H) Newcastle (A) Utd (A)
  5. Sheff Utd 2-1 Bournemouth
  6. DoF is in. Recruitment specialist isn’t.
  7. Yeah. I think they’ve missed him a lot. Hope he earns himself a new contract.
  8. No apologies needed mate
  9. Gabbi was up front alongside Quagliarella.
  10. Brighton 0-1 Watford
  11. Hughes? (an argument could be made against that though!)
  12. Tella returned after 10 months out according to the OS. Bonus to get him back.
  13. Did we really have £30m to spend in January?
  14. I know. I think the problem was we thought we'd sell more than we did so had to improvise a bit. We can probably shift a few more this summer, but will struggle to raise big, big money needed -- So can imagine a big sale (of somebody we'd like to keep) will have to happen.
  15. Hope you're right. Massive summer ahead.
  16. Lost 2-1 https://www.southamptonfc.com/news/2020-02-07/u23-report-nottingham-forest-vs-southampton-fc-premier-league-cup-19-20
  17. & I don’t see him getting that. So is this article the 1st step of “well, we tried”. Pretty sure the club were confident Koeman would stay too.
  18. Norwich, Palace & Burnley?
  19. Suits our game. I’d be happy if he stays. The real question is how we fund the new signings.
  20. I see the words “Southampton expect to agree a new contract with manager Ralph Hasenhüttl before the end of the season” and instantly can see the alternate headlines when he leaves this summer

  23. Burnley are tricky. They are the archetypal team we struggle to break down. Hard to press when they’ll just punt it down the pitch.
  24. @AdamBlackmore: Some good news #saintsfc Ralph says Ward-Prowse injury is only a deep cut, not worse - might be fit for Burnley ??
