  1. Rumoured 5 year, 40k a week deal agreed. So that would essentially replace Jose's wages. Question is, would FFP prohibit us from adding a Sakho-esque 70k+ wage?
  2. He's copied that from the article in The Times this morning (See post #790)
  3. Olomola is injured, I believe. Ryan is still coming back to fitness after a serious injury. Isgrove is fit, but seems to have gone backwards this season.
  4. The only known facts are: - Lander is interested in some kind of investment (How much '£' & '%' is speculation.) - Kat's statement says "partnership".
  5. Wowsers. Some good detail in there, assuming it's true. Probably makes me a little more nervous if they want a controlling stake.
  6. If Yoshida is out, you know sh*t is getting real when Gardos is back in the frame.

  9. If our scouting remains tip-top, I don't see us being able to keep players any easier - the only way we can do that is to sign crap players that nobody wants. Would be great if they can come in, don't rock the boat & they give us in-roads into better commercial deals & primarily stadium development expertise. That would be a win-win.
  10. Great stuff. This loan move has gone really well for him. So much better than last season. Pleased for him.
  11. MLG will be taking names of all people that have said he's wrong and will be planning long term revenge.
  12. Believe so. Really hope Jay is ok. He's been slowly getting back to form.
  13. Sam Wallace (who has good club connections) made it pretty clear in his preview tweet earlier that it isn't a takeover:
  14. SSN: Watford have announced the signing of AC Milan forward M'Baye Niang. The 22-year-old has signed on loan until the end of the 2016/17 season, and the Hornets also have the option of making the move permanent in the summer.
  15. Some serious money... Lets hope he's more Pelle than Osvaldo. It's funny, I thought we would either go for a Pelle-type striker or a Mane-type forward... and we actually go for one who's not like either! - Shows what I know
  16. I think their form is down to missing Mane... But I think their main issue for the 1st time in a little while is that the cup matches are meaning they are playing midweek games and it's taking it's toll on them. It's easier playing high-pressing with 7 days rest in-between matches.
  17. Kat says "partnership" in her statement though. Depends on the validity of the £200m.
  18. Southampton owner Katharina Liebherr assures fan Chinese sale won't harm club: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/01/26/southampton-owner-katharina-liebherr-assures-fan-chinese-sale/ A few interesting little pieces of detail in there from Sam Wallace.
  19. The £200m figure is slightly strange. We don't know the size of the stake yet. £200m wouldn't buy you a minority share either - It would likely buy you the whole club. Maybe they have £200m to invest in the infrastructure & surrounding area - that would be cool
  20. & that, would be awesome.
  21. JESE TO BORO? They might be losing Gaston Ramirez, but Middlesbrough are reportedly set to sign Jese. According to French newspaper L'Equipe, Goncalo Guedes' arrival at PSG has paved the way for former Real Madrid winger Jese to join Boro on loan until the end of the season. It is reported that Jese preferred Las Palmas, but they were only able to pay 20% of his wages.
  22. I'd agree. I'd be equally happy if they wanted to develop the land around St Mary's.

  24. His ETA was 3 weeks. So I'm guessing he could be available again in a weeks time? (Always tricky to judge with a knee injury)
