Will be a fantastic signing for Burnley IMO. An unusual policy by Hull to sell best players in January to raise funds for new players. I trust their coach.... but not sure I trust their owner.

SSN: Burnley have had a bid of around £10million accepted for Hull's Robert Snodgrass. West Ham have had lower bids rejected, and we also understand there is a second offer on the table from Middlesbrough.

GABBIADINI LATEST Negotiations continue today between Napoli and Southampton over the potential transfer of Manolo Gabbiadini, according to Sky in Italy. We understand Napoli will have to reduce their asking price to £13m, otherwise it will be difficult to find agreement. Napoli are understood to want £17 million. Sky in Italy understand Schalke 04 and Borussia Mönchengladbach are also interested in the player.

I'm not sure we'd go for Sakho if we land Gabbiadini. That could be around a £30m+ outlay. It's possible, but I'd imagine we'd be looking a cheaper defensive option.

Unless it's the most prolonged agent talk ever, I think there's something in the Gabbiadini talk. But surely not for anywhere near £20m. I'd be happy with a loan, with clauses.
