  2. Did they stream the game? Damn. I missed that.
  3. Smallbone's goal is some hit! Not the 1st Long ranger he's hit by the looks either.
  4. Yeah, he got injured in February. Striker options looking plentiful in the U23's. Seager & Barnes now back to join Olomola who's done well by himself this season.
  5. sambosa75 must be pretty proud tonight. I noticed Rowthorn started (& won) at Old Trafford
  6. @Ryan_Seager: Unbelievably happy to be back in full training now, it's been too long!!⚽️ #Imback#Saintsfc ^ Great news - very pleased for him.
  7. Cracking result! (At Old Trafford too!)
  8. Also, Klopp is bemoaning his attacking bench options anyway, so he's not going to let anyone leave IMO. Ings could have been an option if he was fit though as he would have been nowhere near the starting XI.
  9. Generally we are pretty good in January. It's the Summer that the drawbridge collapses.

  11. I agree. The Everton tempo is what we need. I also remember us battering Swansea for periods too. (But only won both games 1-0).
  12. STOKE TEAM NEWS Mark Hughes hopes to have the likes of Jonathan Walters and Ryan Shawcross back for Stoke's home meeting with Southampton. He said: "We've got a few bumps from the weekend. Muniesa got a bang on his knee so we'll get that checked. Johnson's got a bit of a problem with his eye and other than that, we don't anticipate we'll lose any more players."
  13. Nice work
  14. Maybe Pass The Dutchie can check on that compared to last season.
  15. “Matt Targett has had surgery and will stay out for three or four months." Source: https://southamptonfc.com/news/2016-12-12/claude-puel-team-news-pre-stoke-city-southampton-premier-league
  16. I have no idea if that's true, but that's a fairly incredible stat if it is.
  17. Indeed they did.

We have possibilities in the squad." #saintsfc Southampton FC ‏@SouthamptonFC Puel: "December can be decisive. We want to keep the same objective in the second part of the season." #saintsfc
  19. Berahino to play for the WBA U23's tonight. #BerahinoWatch
  20. Ben Arfa would be ideal for when Boufal goes to the AFCON. Knows where the goal is too.
  21. You could arguably (and this is a good place to prove that) get both Haller & Berahino, as we probably needed a striker even if Charlie wasn't out.
  22. I think he started scoring almost immediately for the U23's so he's up & running again.
  23. No way Liverpool are letting Sturridge go.
  24. Hasn't Barnes only just come back from injury?
  25. So are Stokelona, I notice.
