Another summer of being linked with a fair few Defensive midfielder's again then. I have a list somewhere of all of last season's links - there were quite a few! Or City if Munich/Pep were as interested as the papers made out.

I would love Ron to sign a new contract for obvious reasons, but not least because can you imagine EVERY press conference having the same f*cking question about his future will ramp up if he doesn't.

He's needed a loan move ever since we signed him. (I don't mean that in a disparaging way either)

Certainly a valid point. United, for example must consider themselves in a weaker position within the transfer market when players know that LvG is only there for [in theory] another year.

Yeah, there was a piece on this a while ago where West Ham seemingly will throw a BIG amount of money at a pricey striker. Bony / Benteke / Lacazette / Batshuayi were all mentioned then as well, I believe.
