  2. It's like a merry-go-round of coaches isn't it.
  3. He has been exactly what I hoped he would be - A bit of a maverick - A player with X-factor to turn a game. Can destroy teams when he's on form. Moody & inconsistent - But I love players like him. Early on when he signed, I told friends I think he could be a £30m player one day. Now, I'd be disappointed if we only got £30m for him.
  4. Not much new detail here. But same-old, same-old. http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/victor-wanyama-to-tottenham-spurs-return-for-southampton-star-as-mauricio-pochettino-seeks-a3266276.html
  5. I've never hated the Moyes idea. I just think it would be a little different from what we've done before. If he wasn't mentioned by Guan, I would have assumed he wasn't on the list.

  7. I'll take him if he can bring any of his old Porto players with him
  8. Hopefully this means we can gazump Everton for Lewis Dunk. #GazumpForDunk
  9. For some reason I'm excited that it's a Red & White sponsor too.
  10. If he stays and pushes on again next season EVERYONE will want him. He's been superb for us so far.
  11. Even though neither player was used much (if at all), you could sign one creative player to basically take both Juanmi & Gaston's place in the squad.
  12. I suppose it's difficult to balance. I can't remember what we spent in that 1st season, but it was was somewhere in the region of 70m / 80m replacing all those players wasn't it? I guess we'll never know whether he was right/wrong to not give the younger players like Gallagher/Hesketh/Reed more of a chance, but in his defence, not playing them didn't work out too badly for him.
  13. I watched this video with Jim Lucas interviewing Les Reed again recently. It's from nearly 2 years ago to the day (10 Jun 2014) This was from in-between Poch leaving & Koeman arriving. It's quite topical as it puts into focus much of exactly what's going on now: Losing a coach, finding preferred candidates, player recruitment, how they find their preferred candidate etc. Worth a re-watch if you have the time.
  14. Add AvB to stepping stone.
  15. Alan Nixon report: http://thesun.uk/6017BsuYD
  16. I still expect him to go. http://m.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/14541926.Why_Saints_will_take_their_time_replacing_Ronald_Koeman/?ref=rss
  17. He's been mentioned around these parts before. Even prior to Ron leaving. I did some reading up on him - He plays similar to Leicester. Organised defence, tough to break down then counter-attack with quality.
  18. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2016/06/07/everton-agree-compensation-package-with-southampton-for-ronald-k/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter They updated their earlier story.
  19. Peter McVitie ‏@PeterMcVitie Eredivisie top goalscorer Vincent Janssen in talks with Tottenham, say De Telegraaf http://www.telegraaf.nl/telesport/voetbal/az/25955294/__Tottenham_in_race_voor_Janssen__.html#voetbal/227/fixtures/
  20. Yeah, then it's just like Paul Mitchell & Spurs. Didn't he get offered to triple his wages?
  21. Simon Peach ‏@SimonPeach Looks like Unai Emery will not be heading to the Premier League - I'm told a move to PSG is close
  22. Hopefully the type of player we require will still be the same. The new man may have an opinion on who that player is though.
