  1. I would agree completely. To be honest, Liverpool are the last f*cking team I want to sell him too - I'm fairly amazed they are seemingly the only team interested.
  2. Agree. While I would love to think we will hold out for £40m, I reckon we'll accept £35m
  3. Praet mentioned again: http://sportwitness.co.uk/belgian-star-keen-sign-southampton-summer/
  4. True. New tv money probably goes into improved wages as well as re-paying some of the debt that Kat wiped out.
  5. Well if he got appointed and we sell Vic / Mané / Pelle & add it to the Juanmi cash, he could be a chequebook manager here too with £60m to spend.
  6. I'm bound to have forgotten some spats and arguments, but one thing that strikes me about his time as City, is there seemed to be hardly any incidents in the background at City with him in charge? Mancini seemed to have massive arguments every couple of weeks back in the day. So Pellegrini can obviously keep the peace - Quite impressive given the ego's there.
  7. He's a unit, but as pangy says, would take HUGE ££'s.
  8. That's the question isn't it - Do we think Utd will still want Mane under Jose? - They'll surely want wide players. Liverpool's only chance of getting him is if they are the only bidders.

  10. You've answered your own question
  11. Certainly worth more than Sterling. Lets just say "IF" he's hell-bent on going: Would you take £40m this summer? or would you keep him one more season & sell for £15m next summer?
  12. The Sun Football ‏@TheSunFootball EXCLUSIVE: Southampton slap £40m price tag on Sadio Mane as Liverpool step up pursuit http://thesun.uk/6016BtvhI (Not quite sure how it's an exclusive)
  13. Yeah, it **might** work on the continent - but it wouldn't work here at all.
  14. You've got a thread to update
  15. Voted Pellegrini but think it will be Puel. Not one person seems to tick every box we want. But I'd go for Pellegrini - Proven pedigree & will have the experience to keep us on an even keel. Granted, he won't play the pressing game. But I wouldn't strictly say that Ronald did either & we didn't do too badly.
  16. Good news. Jack Schitt is indeed added to the ITK list.
  17. Interesting that we are linked with both Kostic & Kapustka? Both left-sided players. Think we'd sign both (Assuming Tadic stays?)
  18. I think he'll add another string to their bow. He's a pure destroyer & they don't really have that. Also free's up Dier to drop back into a defence if needed. I think Vic will win them points in Europe against the bigger sides. We know how effective he is for us when you're up against it.
  19. Quotes from him about leaving: http://www.soka25east.com/victor-wanyama-elated-move-tottenham-hotspur/
  20. So is Frank de Boer off the list now?
  21. I need to think this over. I wonder what happened with the Rudi talks?
  22. Prank de Boer?
  23. Who'd have thought that would be the short-list 2 weeks ago!
  24. Pellegrini & FdB don't play high-pressing game do they?
