SUNDERLAND IN FOR DUO Sunderland are in talks to sign Zenit centre back Nicolas Lombaerts and Dutch forward Jeremie Lens of Dynamo Kiev, according to Sky sources. Lombaerts, 30, would cost the Black Cats around £5million, while Dutch international Lens would set them back around £8.5million.

ELIA NOT TRAINING Werder Bremen general manager Thomas Eichin has confirmed that winger Eljero Elia has been allowed to leave pre-season training to sort out his future.
