Further to the 55% of turnover spent on wages including parachute payments, will paying off footballing debts of old wages be included in the 55% allowed to be spent, as technically they are wages.
-
Or he just wants a new watch :-)
-
The big problem will be when the parachute payment has run out the season after next they will have to cut thier wages to 60% of turnover and if they have included parachute payments to get out of league 2 they will have to slash thier budget in league 1 by 50% of what is league 2. This is when the administator or league will come down on them like a ton of bricks.
-
As they do not actually have many players on proper contracts, how much of the 55% of turnover will be used on sign on fees, before we even talk wages.
-
Except the disallowed one that went in !!!

Cannot really see spurs losing 3 games as they are chasing europe and have Bale back

Let's look at the real world for the skates 23 games x a generous 12k fans x average £17 per game. This is £4,692,000 gate receipts, and throw in an extra £2.3 million from advertising and TV and match day stuff. With the financial fair play at 55% of receipts that accounts to £3.85M being the maximum allowed to be spent on wages. 52 weeks of the year, this equates to a squad pay of 74k per week. With a squad of 25 players this is about 3k per player, including sign on bonuses and win bonuses. Not that much really.

To think all those clubs must be looking forward to visiting the new wembley of league 2 for thier cup final. They are going to bitterly disappointed when they realise its only fatpipe park.

Just had a cracking microwave curry, what really naffs me off is when I am behind a slow driver and they stop on the road where there is no overtaking for a few miles, to let a slow lorry out and then the car turns at the next junction, and I am left crawling behind the bl**dy lorry. arrrrgggh -
Funny that was my thought, I was under the impression having seen on news reports the last 30 years various IRA atrocities, the size of the explosion was rather small in comparison, leading to my impression that it was either an extremist group of USA citizens or a deranged individual. A major terrorist group or state authorised bomb probably would have been a larger blast. My thoughts do go out to all those affected as in these actions it is only innocent people that hurt.

And I thought I was the only one who's blood boiled at all the above. The top one with them are definitely the cyclists not using the cycle lane, as us drivers have to crawl at your slow speed, That's why the council spent all that money on the lane for your safety and so the traffic moves smoothly. All of the second posters drive me insane. Perhaps driving lessons in my day actually made you actually respect other drivers. -
Heard the horse was taken to intensive care but is in stable condition.

At 800K a league position even then it is not worth it, wait till preseason is over next year. -
The police are chomping at the bit to charge him.

Yeah it was a friendly attempt at breaking the crossbar according to Guy Wittingham.
