This was all on Selles. Wrong team , Wrong Tactics. Bournemouth have conceded the most goals from corners in the league . Did we set up to take advantage of this ? Did we fuck. To watch short corner after short corner was infuriating . Just maybe our 6ft7 striker could have caused a bit of panic if he was playing ? Elyounoussi has survived 3 managers this season, if ever a player was symptomatic of our demise it is this idiot. Offers nothing. Every single time I see him starting I know what kind of performance the team will give us. Safe, tepid , Shit.

Stuart Armstrong is another one who has been absolutely horrendous this season.

I went to my first Saints game in 1992, and can hand on heart say this current team is the worse team I’ve seen in 30 years. We have no intensity , no drive , zero attacking threat . It’s absolutely soul destroying watching us these days . And Selles has been a huge part of the problem this season , if this way of playing is the future , then god help us.

Read in an article on The athletic this morning that Doyle might be leaving as he thinks he should be around the first team, and he’s not sure of the opportunities here. Not being rude but surely Doyle , Ballard and some of the other kids may be a better option than the dross we’ve seen up front this year ? At least the B-team and u18s seem to have a winning mentality and could transfer some youthful exuberance to the current incumbents. I swear to god seeing Elyounoussi , Armstrong and co pretend to be footballers on a weekly basis is depressing

I actually don’t think we’d be any worse off if we kept Jones until the end of the season. At least we’d be getting the ball forward to Onuachu quicker and actually trying to score .

I’ve stopped feeling any emotions with this team. Can’t even get angry anymore. It’s been season after season of this dross.

When we last got relegated we had Crouch and Camara who at least could stick the ball in the net. This years crop is terrible . Don’t look like scoring week after week, game after game

What in the continual fuck do successive managers see in Elyounoussi . I just don’t get it . Too slow, can’t pass, can’t shoot . Wasn’t good enough for us two years ago so we loaned him to Celtic .. it’s a mystery .

Mainland Niles is really a poor excuse of a footballer.

We played ok In patches, but once again the lack of cutting-edge and defensive lapses have cost us. For the umpteenth time this season, under 3 different managers the starting XI has hampered us. We need to find a way to get our best players starting and to stop trying to be too clever . Also If Injury time is a minimum of 3 minutes , don’t blow your whistle on 2.56 😞 ( not that it would have made much difference )

Does Armstrong ever successfully dribble past an opponent. Every fucking time he loses it.
